A respected crypto researcher and analyst known for deep quantitative dives into perpetual dexes, Hyperliquid, and points farming strategies. Recognized for well-researched content on X, early identification of opportunities like Treadfi, and willingness to share knowledge openly—including losses and failed approaches. Described as hardworking, helpful in DMs, and a thoughtful contributor to crypto discourse, though one review flagged unsolicited DM contact.

“A great that has gone downhill”Andre is in many ways the father of yield farming and we all owe many fond memories of 2020 DeFi summer to him. He had some controversies with the a number of the plethora of protocols he created, but he generally maintained a positive reputation by the time he went on his Twitter hiatus. By the time he came back, his fans were extremely excited for Sonic and had full belief that he would bring back DeFi season. Instead, he unfortunately opted to deceive and farm his loyal user base with the Sonic airdrop. I've pasted my review of @SonicLabs below for context. https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/313579/dishonest-extraction “Dishonest Extraction” This review is not about the chain -- the chain is good. This review is about their marketing and business decisions. In hindsight, their sponsorship of the Ansem/Bitboy fight should've told us all we needed to know before the start of the points campaign, but here we are. CT believed Sonic when they stated that 190.5M $S would be distributed to points holders, with no indication of multiple seasons, so many parked significant capital in Silo/Shadow/others for 6 months. This influx of capital is what got the chain off the ground ($11M -> $1.1B TVL) and catapulted the team back to into relevance, since Fantom was long dead. Fast forward to the end of the campaign in June, the team decide to announce that the 190.5M $S will be distributed over "multiple seasons" and that only an "undisclosed" portion of that will be airdropped in season 1. https://x.com/SonicLabs/status/1931336521866690824 To add insult to injury, they later announced that only 25% of this nerfed airdrop will be claimable and the other 75% will be vested over 270 days. All while $S is at all time lows. After weeks of waiting for the airdrop after the end of S1, just when CT thought it couldn't get any worse, many users found themselves inexplicably ineligible. Some of these users had LP'd 5 figs for 4-6 months, incurring incalculable opportunity cost. https://x.com/mattfromblock/status/1947647456335782145 Sonic will predictably chalk this up to the sybil review, but it is very improbable that all of these users are sybils, especially for a liquidity based campaign. Another example of dishonest marketing is Andre proudly announcing "Sonic Labs just burned 100% of its 1,866,256.59 $S allocation from the airdrop. Current value: $754,902.66." https://x.com/AndreCronjeTech/status/1947265125334896909 These tokens were never in circulation -- the 190.5M $S are new tokens that will be minted. The teams' wallets should never have been eligible for the airdrop and these tokens should've been redistributed to users. All this did is reduce the airdrop (again) by 1.866M $S. Coming back to this post airdrop, now knowing that so many genuine users were disqualified, is even more insulting.on Andre Cronje · 1757· 1y ago · negative16
“Blatant disregard for real users”I don't want to waste any more of my time on this project, so I'm going to paste an amalgamation of my tweets post-airdrop checker. Airdrop checker: $MORSE rugged the LP immediately after the checker dropped. I expect a dump, but not a literal rug. Then again, what should I have expected from a project that milked its community's liquidity for 13 months for no tangible yield and so much opportunity cost, only to give 15% to the team and 10% to ration amongst - expedition depositors across 6 leaderboards - matrix depositors across 2 projects - testnet campaign users - MORSE NFT holders - MORSE 404 LPs - kaito yappers - discord role holders - ambassadors - pudgy penguins, milady, kemonokaki, azuki, mammoths and celestine sloths holders TGE: Of course, Binance Alpha mercenaries got their MITO immediately on BSC, with liquidity seeded so that they can dump first. They completely misrepresented the tMITO option during the airdrop registration, locking in option A claimers for hours post-TGE and the lucrative bonus is lost if you sell your tMITO. You would think that the tMITO discount would be punishment enough https://x.com/tobific/status/1958954967345373618 Meanwhile, option B claimers could bridge MITO to BSC via Hyperlane and sell there. But to sell your tMITO, you need to go to Chromo, which was still only on testnet for 5 hours... Oh, you couldn't even claim your tMITO because you need MITO for gas and they don't give you enough to sponsor it. TLDR: Public access to Mitosis Mainnet launched 5h after TGE, to give enough time for the Binance Alpha mercenaries to empty their bags on your head -- their loyal 1y+ user head -- first. No increased allo + option B claimers and Binance users nuke the chart before you can do anything gmitoon Mitosis · 1317· 1y ago · negative18
