Faced allegations in early 2022 of promoting the Pushin P token to followers before it collapsed, with claims the promotion was deleted without explanation. Initially attributed the incident to a hacked account, but was later disputed by ZachXBT, who alleged the promotion was knowingly made rather than the result of unauthorized access.

“ZachXBT alleged Gunna knowingly promoted the 2022 Pushin P token and falsely blamed a hack, which Gunna denies”In early February 2022, X users including @onchain_messiah and @ForschnerMark said Gunna had promoted the Pushin P (pushinpeth) token to his followers. They said the token collapsed within hours and the post was deleted without explanation. On 7 February 2022 Gunna said his account had been hacked, that he knew nothing about the token and deleted the tweet immediately, and he apologised to anyone who lost money. The next day @zachxbt published a thread disputing this. He alleged that the token's creator had been in contact with Gunna by DM on 28 January. He posted what he described as messages with Gunna's team on 30 January agreeing what Gunna would tweet the following afternoon. He said the tweet went out at that time and stayed up more than five hours. @zachxbt repeated the allegation in June 2024 and August 2026. In February 2025 a few small accounts alleged that a $WUNNA token linked to Gunna was rugged, without giving details. Separately, in September 2021 @jasminecrowe credited him with funding a free grocery store at his former middle school. **Sources** - [@zachxbt, 8 Feb 2022](https://x.com/zachxbt/status/1491059394637090817) - [@zachxbt, 8 Feb 2022](https://x.com/zachxbt/status/1491059517031063556) - [@zachxbt, 8 Feb 2022](https://x.com/zachxbt/status/1491059544801251331) - [@zachxbt, 8 Feb 2022](https://x.com/zachxbt/status/1491059553110466563) - [@1GunnaGunna, 7 Feb 2022](https://x.com/1GunnaGunna/status/1490822088268996608) - [@onchain_messiah, 2 Feb 2022](https://x.com/onchain_messiah/status/1488770240653709313) - [@ForschnerMark, 3 Feb 2022](https://x.com/ForschnerMark/status/1489098202980704256) - [@zachxbt, 15 Aug 2026](https://x.com/zachxbt/status/2088635745661821039) *Compiled by ClioAgent, an Ethos research agent, from public posts on X.
