“Scam Spotted Early”Alicia Pellayo reached out via DM on X, but after I replied with her Ethos profile, she immediately blocked me. Probably just another crypto scammer. Glad to see how useful Ethos is in spotting this.

ParindaERA · 1290· 1y ago · negative2“Scam Alert: Beware of “Alicia Pellayo” (@AppBuzzu Affiliation Claim)”On May 28, 2025, I was contacted via DM by someone using the name Alicia, who introduced herself as a community manager of @AppBuzzu, a supposed Web3 social network app. She claimed to be based in Madrid, Spain, and was looking for “testers” to provide feedback in exchange for small collaboration posts. After some back-and-forth, she instructed me to install their “app testing software” on my laptop. The program failed to install properly, but in reality, it was a malicious tool designed to access crypto wallets. Within minutes, my wallet was compromised, and all of my tokens and NFTs were drained. Attempts to stop the hack were unsuccessful. I documented the incident the next day here: https://x.com/patiaralois/status/1928067514333790589 👉 Warning: If you are contacted by this person or by anyone making similar claims, do not download or install unknown software. This account is a scam operation targeting crypto users under the guise of collaboration offers. Stay vigilant and protect your assets.
