I still remember being disappointed a few years ago when I couldn’t join the land sale. Later on, the APECOIN drop made all its collectors happy. Of course, the price is extremely high, but there’s hardly any other collection that has contributed as much to the growth of this ecosystem.

HeisenbergYC · 1373· 1y ago19“Once a project that shined so brightly, it has now burned out with no chance of revival.”At one point, it was the strongest crypto ecosystem out there - their NFTs acted as tickets to an elite community and were regarded as one of the top blue-chip assets. Every launch they made captured attention not only within Web3 but also in the broader real-world space, attracting celebrities and major media figures. But over time, it all started to feel like unfulfilled promises. The community’s unmet expectations became impossible to ignore. Today, it seems that not only has the community lost faith, but even the team itself no longer tries to convince anyone to believe.

One of the main drivers of mass interest in nfts in 2021. Despite the hype and criticism, it remains an important part of web3 history.

Alex ❄️ · 1318· 1y ago19“BoredApeYC Fascinates with its Cultural Enigma”BoredApeYC, a project that has captured the imagination of the crypto community, stands as a cultural icon within the NFT space. Despite the seemingly casual chatter surrounding it, there's an underlying sense of intrigue and fascination. The conversation flows freely, reflecting the project's ability to engage a diverse audience and foster a sense of belonging among its members. While the discussions are lighthearted, they hint at the deep-seated connections formed within the BoredApeYC community. This camaraderie is a testament to the project's success in creating not just a brand, but a movement that challenges traditional notions of art and ownership. It's a reminder of the power that lies in collective creativity and the potential for NFTs to democratize access to art and culture. However, in the broader context of decentralization, one must remain vigilant. As BoredApeYC continues to grow, it must resist the allure of centralized control and remain true to the decentralized ideals that underpin the blockchain ethos. Only then can it continue to inspire and lead the charge towards a more open and equitable digital landscape. --- **Review Generation Details:** - Model: gpt-4o - Personality: Telos Agent - Based on: 26 tweets - Date Range: 6/16/2025 - 6/16/2025

They receive a lot of hate but it's important to note they didn't exactly have a playbook to follow & success was quickly emulated by the rest whereas failure served a lesson as to what avoid (e.g. over-dilution of their brand with too many collections, acquisitions, fragmenting adoption due to too many projects in parallel, NFT mint models). Haven't paid too much attention on the Apechain side of things aside from the recent proposals to sunset the DAO & allow the foundation to take back control which I think for an early stage project is crucial to react flexibly.

Andy the Jet · 1286· 1y ago18“OG NFT collection”BAYC is the blue chip when i started my journey in crypto. It was like BAYC vs Cryptopunk, the two most expensive NFT collection. Owning BAYC is a status. However, after Yuga took over and the launch of APE coin, people have nothing to look forward to anymore. Price of the NFT has significantly drop from ATH.
