Those Bored Apes aren’t just NFTs; they’re like a whole vibe, a culture, a freakin’ movement! I remember when I first stumbled across the project—those quirky, badass apes with their crazy accessories and that “I’m too cool to care” look just hooked me. It’s like each one’s got its own story, you know? Like, you see one with a captain’s hat and a cigar, and you’re already imagining it chilling on a yacht somewhere in the metaverse.

They highlight events like ApeFest, share member stories, and promote initiatives such as "Made By Apes," which features products created by BAYC holders. NFT market still in high credibility cause of BAYC.

IFEOLUWA · 1337· 1y ago17“OG NFT collection - used to be cool”BAYC was probably the biggest and most aura NFT project back then in 2021. I remember joining VCs and if someone had a BAYC or even a MAYC he was the top aura farmer in the call. They used to be a cool community, doing IRL events and bringing a decent value to their holders. Now its just community members and aficionados of the community that once was considered "the blue chip of the blue chips".

While not flawless in execution, it's still one of the strongest and most influential brands in Web3.

0x识途 · 1196· 1y ago17“#1 Club on the internet”The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has achieved remarkable success, collaborating with major brands like Adidas, Gucci, BAPE, Mcbess, and TimeX, while securing a record-breaking $4 billion valuation through the largest seed round in U.S. history. BAYC has rewarded its holders handsomely, distributing six figures worth of $APE coin and continuing to provide free airdrops valued between $1,000 and $10,000. Their innovative approach includes supporting and showcasing community-driven products via MadeByApes, boasting an elite team with executives from Blizzard and Epic Games, and gaining massive attention with viral moments like the DooKeyDash Mongraal win—culminating in breaking the world record for the most simultaneous online players battling in a game. Beyond gaming, BAYC has hit cultural milestones, appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone, being featured on Jimmy Fallon, and hosting performances by top-tier entertainers like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Wayne. They’ve also auctioned at Sotheby’s, been playfully criticized by CNN, and donated millions to causes like Jane Goodall and dog shelters, all while fostering the biggest community leveraging its own IP and offering unparalleled networking opportunities.FFV · 1503· 1y ago17
