“Journalism with actual depth in a space full of noise.”Camila Russo built The Defiant into one of crypto's most credible media outlets and her book on Ethereum's origins remains essential reading for anyone serious about understanding how this space got here. What separates her from most crypto media is the commitment to context not just reporting what happened but why it matters. Rare combination of investigative rigor and genuine passion for the space. A trusted source in an industry that desperately needs more of them.

“One of Crypto's Most Credible Journalists”Crypto is full of influencers competing for attention, but very few produce work that resembles traditional journalism. Camila Russo is one of the rare exceptions. As the founder of The Defiant and author of The Infinite Machine, she has built a reputation for explaining Ethereum, DeFi, and the broader crypto ecosystem with depth and context rather than chasing hype or short term narratives. Her reporting focuses on helping people understand why developments matter, not just what is trending. What also sets her apart is the absence of the promotional behavior that has become common across Crypto Twitter. Instead of constantly advertising tokens or making bold price predictions, her content is rooted in research, interviews, and industry knowledge. That makes her a valuable source for anyone looking to learn rather than speculate. No journalist is completely free from bias, and readers should always think critically about any source. However, Camila Russo has consistently earned respect by prioritizing education, accuracy, and thoughtful reporting over engagement farming. Overall, she is one of the most trusted and credible voices in crypto media and well worth following if you want to better understand Ethereum, DeFi, and the long term evolution of the industry.

“Good journalist”Camila Russo is one of the few voices in crypto whose reputation comes from journalism rather than influence. Before launching The Defiant in 2019, she spent eight years reporting on emerging markets and digital assets at Bloomberg, building a strong foundation in financial reporting. Her book, The Infinite Machine, published in 2020, remains one of the most respected accounts of Ethereum's origins and evolution.

“Worth following”One of the things I appreciate most about Camila Russo's work is that she looks beyond short term price action and focuses on the long term evolution of the crypto industry. Her insights into Ethereum, DeFi and the broader onchain economy help connect the dots between technical innovation and real world impact. With her background in financial journalism, she has a way of breaking down complex topics without oversimplifying them. In my opinion, the most valuable voices in crypto are the ones that explain why developments matter instead of simply reporting what happened. That's why I enjoy following Camila Russo. Her articles and posts encourage readers to think more critically about where the industry is heading, making her content useful for both newcomers trying to understand the space and experienced participants looking for deeper perspectives.

“Trusted personnel in the crypto space”Camila is one of the people that made ethereum to stand out and be where it is today. She is a true advocate and a dedicated one, launched one of the most prominent crypto news platform out their know as defiant news.

“A Recognized Voice in the Crypto Space”Camila Russo has established herself as a recognizable figure in crypto media, particularly around Ethereum and DeFi. Her background in journalism gives her content an informative perspective, while her work focuses on explaining developments across the industry. That said, as with any crypto commentator or media personality, I think it's best to consider her coverage alongside other sources and form your own view. Overall, she appears to be an experienced and knowledgeable voice, but readers should still do their own research when making decisions based on any crypto-related information.
