“An outright misleading job listing”I applied to what looked like a legit “Web3 Social Media Ambassador” role from CryptoCadet, posted on CryptoJobsList. The job description mentioned content creation, strategy, social media growth standard community/marketing stuff. Instead, I received an email inviting me to join their affiliate program : no actual job, no responsibilities, no contract, and of course, no guaranteed compensation. Just a leaderboard and some referral links. This is not a marketing role. It’s a public affiliate scheme disguised as a job offer to lure in applicants and get free promotion. It feels dishonest and scammy. If you’re looking for real work in Web3, avoid wasting your time here. Hopefully, platforms like CryptoJobsList will take action and remove this type of listing.0xLegendz · 1443· 1y ago · negative5
