From 225 activities · Mar 2026Eclipse is a Layer 2 blockchain that promised fairness and community-driven development but systematically betrayed supporters through unfair token distribution, poor airdrop execution, and dismissive leadership. Early community members and ASC NFT holders who invested time and money felt farmed and excluded, while the team prioritized insiders and later engaged in bear-posting about their own project. The chain has become a ghost town with minimal adoption, abandoned apps, and widespread reports of scamming behavior, broken promises, and toxic community management.

Back then, the team promised fair rewards for early supporters, including the much-hyped “tap the bull” event that was supposed to distribute tokens widely. When TGE finally happened, most honest accounts got zero tokens, while the lucky few who did receive something ended up with just a couple of dollars’ worth. No rewards for the NFT collection, no meaningful acknowledgment for active users — just silence. It’s hard not to see this as the team keeping the majority of tokens for themselves. Instead of celebrating a strong launch, Eclipse managed to alienate its earliest community members and erase the trust they’d built. The mix of overpromising, poor communication, and complete disregard for contributors turned what could have been a milestone moment into a textbook example of how to burn goodwill in Web3.

Sam · 1466· 1y ago · negative17“Eclipse: A Case of Misaligned Priorities”I used to be very bullish on Eclipse, but my perspective changed after witnessing how they disregarded their first two projects, Laika and Validators, just to push the ASC NFT collection, which conveniently involves Eclipse’s main devs. That shift felt like a letdown. Promising an airdrop for ASC as a way to force people to mint isn’t my idea of healthy community incentives. Even worse, it seems like the genuine builders behind Validators were sidelined so more value could be funneled into ASC. If you try to offer constructive criticism, you're likely to get attacked by their inner circle so they can prove their loyalty and retain OG roles that were given to them for a guaranteed drop. They say Eclipse is for builders, but it feels like that only applies if you're part of their dev team. I understand that they are passionate about their project, but bullying everyone who has a concern about something is not okay with me.

🐧 Pengu- The Seal ✳️✳️ · 1196· 9mo ago · negative13“Incentives Over Development”Instead of moving steadily toward mainnet adoption and meaningful onchain applications, the project’s narrative veered toward extended farming campaigns and task-based rewards that felt more like engagement chasing than genuine ecosystem building. This has left several early contributors questioning whether the incentives were managed in proportion to real technical progress, undermining confidence in Eclipse’s long-term impact.

fAder · 1270· 9mo ago · negative13“A Disappointing TGE”Eclipse’s TGE quickly turned chaotic and felt poorly executed. Despite early promise and an interesting ETH–SOL concept, the network launched unfinished, with no active apps or NFT ecosystem. Trust took another hit when the NFT ASC collection vault was emptied after TGE, leaving the community frustrated and disappointed.

0xManoel · 1299· 11mo ago · negative13“airdrops gone wrong and a lack of accountability”this project has consistently failed to deliver on its promises. the airdrop was poorly handled, rewarding random users while ignoring the real community, and the token lost value immediately. overall, it shows a lack of trustworthiness and respect for supporters

lury · 1309· 1y ago · negative13“The project is a scam”I’ll never forget how non-transparent they were and how a huge portion of the community tokens just “disappeared.” At the peak of their NFT hype, they kept encouraging people to buy but in the end, the NFTs received almost no tokens in return (only about 330 tokens worth roughly $120). I personally lost around 2 ETH in this project.

A3MIR ✨ · 1266· 1y ago · negative13“Eclipse: Great Potential, But Needs Focus”Eclipse has incredible speed and security, but I feel some areas still need attention. Developer tools and documentation could be more accessible, and community engagement could be stronger. That said, the potential is massive—this platform can truly redefine Web3 if these gaps are addressed. I’m sharing this to push for improvement, and I hope the team listens to the community’s feedback.

Ostramus · 1233· 1y ago · negative13“"Incomplete and weak project, a complete disaster"”Eclipse was a project that we had high hopes for at first, because it was a very strong layer two for Solana and it was also a high speed network, but after TGE, this project faced a complete failure and did not fulfill its promises, disappointing many. The token of this project also disappointed many and does not have an interesting price at the level of the project itself. Wow, this project was terrible. It did not even consider onchain criteria for its users.

They built tap game gave out money for this and thats it. The level of telegram tap startup who raised 60+ millions of dollars. Nothing more, everyone left.
