From 225 activities · Mar 2026Eclipse is a Layer 2 blockchain that promised fairness and community-driven development but systematically betrayed supporters through unfair token distribution, poor airdrop execution, and dismissive leadership. Early community members and ASC NFT holders who invested time and money felt farmed and excluded, while the team prioritized insiders and later engaged in bear-posting about their own project. The chain has become a ghost town with minimal adoption, abandoned apps, and widespread reports of scamming behavior, broken promises, and toxic community management.

AUNTΞR · 1259· 1y ago · negative12“The end of disgusting deeds”They lost the community with a disgraceful airdrop. They adopted the flawed policies of a child, Alucard, distributing to a few sycophants and ignoring the real ecosystem users. What happened next? It's all garbage, no one's talking about it anymore. The price is all over the place. We've all witnessed how a business fails.

Trader Opusa 𒆠 · 1267· 1y ago · negative12“Good product, but they are run like a dictatorship.”Their cm (Alucard) is a rude maniac that operates the community like it's a dictatorship, you can't question or disagree to anything he says. He acts like he's the supreme leader who can never ever be wrong. He's fully lost his mind, and the fact that Eclipse as an organisation allows this to carry on is a fat red flag. I don't know much about Eclipse, but I think their product is heavily reliant on users. If they cannot find a level ground to make everybody feel comfortable, either opposition or friendly, then they will struggle to get people to fall in love with then post TGE. A lot of things play a part in a successful product, but he doesn't know this because his dick riding community do not have the courage to tell him when he's wrong. I am fully with him in making sure that community comes first, be I think he is going about it wrongly.

“No pulse, the patient is dead”If at first everyone showed interest in this ecosystem, after its TGE — I don't know a single person who still holds any funds in this project. This blockchain isn't just dying, it has long been dead. The Eclipse team treats ecosystem projects terribly and doesn't give them proper support. I'll give one example: the most popular lending protocol on Eclipse, Astrol. I see a lot of harsh hate falling on that project's team, not without reason, of course, but I also understand that the Eclipse team is to blame for much of it. I've noticed more than once how Astrol's CEO Stuart (@Stuxor) mentioned that the Eclipse team doesn't respond to their support requests and to important issues for weeks, forcing them to cope and resolve problems themselves. Do not under any circumstances put your funds here, protect yourselves and steer clear of the entire Eclipse ecosystem.

Block Reporter · 1514· 1y ago · negative22“One of the Greatest Money Laundering Heist of Crypto Century”Can't even lie about the fact that Eclipse shill a ton of amazing products before TGE. However, post tge it has been from a controversy to another. One would take it for Soap Opera rather than a crypto project. Starting from a disastrous token launch that left many users feeling misled with poor distribution and price collapse, major leadership upheavals and layoffs that saw likes of Alucard leaving, and internal financing deals that violated investor policies which led parts of the community to call it a scam due to broken expectations and lack of transparency. Oh! Can't even talk less about their intern trolling the project itself on their X platform. It's absolute abysmal.

Flyie · 1286· 9mo ago · negative17“Scam of The Year”recently had the misfortune of getting involved with the Eclipse account on X (@EclipseFND) , and I have to warn everyone : this is a straight-up scam operation preying on unsuspecting crypto enthusiasts. What started as hype around their "Solana on Ethereum" promises turned into a nightmare of lost funds and broken trust. The Bait : False Promises and Hype Eclipse Labs (@EclipseFND) positioned themselves as innovators bringing web2-scale apps onchain with their L2 infrastructure. They launched the $ES token and promoted events like "Eclipse Tap boosts" directing users to liquidity pools on platforms like @umbrafi. Sounded legitimate at first until users started depositing and the rugs began pulling. Multiple victims have reported depositing funds only to see them vanish , with no recourse or response from the team. The Ugly Truth : Leadership Scandals and Insider Dumping Digging deeper , the leadership is a red flag parade. Founder Neel Samani allegedly sold off 8 figures worth of tokens OTC while facing serious sexual predator accusations. Co-founder Sam Thapaliya is implicated in shady deals dumping over 9 figures of $MOVE tokens. And don't get me started on @Alucard_eth , who blocked critics , called competing projects like Monad a "scam" then flipped to shilling them after scamming Eclipse users with trash like #ASC and @bitzcto. Recent team changes ? They slashed 65% of their workforce post-TGE , with CEO @0xLitquidity bailing classic exit scam vibes. Community Betrayal and Scams Within The Eclipse Discord and community are riddled with internal scams. One user had their ASC stolen by a scammer (@Crypto_saints) who abused trust , only for @Alucard_eth to buy it back for show while blacklisting addresses. But that's just damage control for a toxic ecosystem. Users are repeatedly funneled into fraudulent liquidity pools, and the team's response ? Crickets or more hype posts. My Advice: Stay Away ! If you're thinking of touching Eclipse or $ES, run the other way. This isn't innovation ; it's a sophisticated fraud exploiting the crypto hype cycle. Report them on X , avoid their links and spread the word. I've lost money , time and faith don't let it happen to you. #EclipseScam #CryptoFraud #StaySafe

But looking back, many in the community feel burned. What was billed as a fair 10% airdrop quickly turned sour-distribution left early backers and NFT holders frustrated, eligibility felt murky, and the token dropped nearly 50% in value almost immediately. Then came layoffs-65% of the team gone-and that only fueled the sense that loyalty meant little to them. Technologically solid, maybe-but trust? They've broken that bridge.
