From 225 activities · Mar 2026Eclipse is a Layer 2 blockchain that promised fairness and community-driven development but systematically betrayed supporters through unfair token distribution, poor airdrop execution, and dismissive leadership. Early community members and ASC NFT holders who invested time and money felt farmed and excluded, while the team prioritized insiders and later engaged in bear-posting about their own project. The chain has become a ghost town with minimal adoption, abandoned apps, and widespread reports of scamming behavior, broken promises, and toxic community management.

HimaNii · 1300· 1y ago · negative9“Great Tech, but Bad Execution”Eclipse honestly came in with impressive tech, aiming to bridge ecosystems like Ethereum and Solana. But the founder habit of talking down on competitors and overpromising before launch built huge expectations the project couldn’t fully meet.

The Pennypacker · 1266· 1y ago · negative9“When Hype Meets Disappointment”They promised a launch that would reward early believers, a community-first vibe and instead, a lot of people ended up feeling misunderstood and overlooked. From what I’ve seen on here, even some folks who’d been supporting the project from day one felt buried by unclear eligibility criteria and silent decision-making behind the scenes. It’s not the itself that hurt it’s the fact that many of us watched quietly, hoping our loyalty would count for something… and then it didn’t. Then there’s the checker rollout some news outlets and users started praising it as the moment of truth, but the hype crash landed into confusion as soon as click throughs began. Folks were trying to figure out who even qualified, and the whole process felt murky. It looked more like a puzzle than a reward. No one likes to be kept guessing, especially when you’ve been active not farming random tasks, but genuinely contributing. And perhaps the worst part? Some heard that team members couldn’t claim despite being employers, a move meant to reduce insider advantage but for a lot of us, it felt like too little, too late. The problem wasn’t the block on insiders it was that the distribution just didn’t land right. Airdrops are supposed to build trust, not break it. Unfortunately, this one stung more than it uplifted.

KEERIKKADAN · 1251· 1y ago · negative9“Ambitious Vision, But Lacking Transparency”@EclipseFND clearly aims to position itself at the forefront of modular blockchain innovation, but the communication often feels overly curated and light on substance. While the tech promises are bold, followers are left wanting more clarity on progress, roadmap details, and real-world traction. There’s potential in the project’s direction, but without more open dialogue and consistent updates, it risks creating distance between the team and the community it’s trying to build.
