“A masterclass in what *NOT* to do with community building !”Eclipse is a masterclass in what *not* to do with community building. You brag about 500K wallets, but barely 400 feel rewarded? That’s not distribution that’s deception. Most of the tokens landed in the hands of those who were loud, loyal, or lucky not necessarily valuable. Tattoos, blind praise, and backroom OG roles can’t prop up a token forever. And now we’ve got 499,600 users ghosted, watching a select few pretend everything’s fine. Reality check: Web3 isn’t about worshipping founders. It’s about ownership, fairness, and transparency. @EclipseFND has the attention now they need to prove they deserve it. Because hype fades. And when it does, all that’s left is how you treated your people.

“Rug L2 and greed among devs”Well, what else to say. A huge amount of comments already here. They have promised a lot, collected funds from VS, and now they are completely gone. I also got rugged on the ecosystem side of things, like Astrol for example. I don't blame myself in any way, since I didn't farm this garbage project at all, but still lose some funds.

Personally, I have strong confidence that $ES will deliver outstanding performance. Those spreading FUD will eventually regret it.

“An imbalanced distribution”Eclipse is currently facing a lot of FUD because they limited the airdrop only to users who interacted with their main product, Turbo Tap. Its clear that this was designed as a stress test for the chain, and they prioritized it accordingly. While that’s understandable, they could have also included users who staked, added liquidity, used their DEXs, or actively participated in other meaningful onchain activities. Offering extra allocation for genuine onchain users would have been a fairer approach. That said, they still did a decent job with the distribution overall. I'm not spreading negativity just expressing a neutral opinion

“rekt”There was a man like Alucard who said a lot that the starknet project had done a bad thing to its community, but we didn't, so we'll do everything differently.And what do you think, I was the owner of the official collection, I didn't get anything further, the people in the discord got the small part who were there every day and we were on this, and the rest of the community was deceived with awards, it's just not the best thing for me, this project with low trust

“Eclipsed into oblivion”Many reviews here will delve into a terrible airdrop, and a betrayal of users. Both are valid points But the writing was on the wall, just look at the ecosystem, there is nothing of value, no killer apps. It's like a copy paste of every other L2 chain out there. Eclipse is an SVM, but it brings no fresh new concepts to this space. Just $2m in TVL, my advice, EXIT ASAP!

“empty promises, wasted trust”eclipse turned into one big disappointment. so many promises left hanging, no real respect shown to the community that backed them, and plenty left without the drop they were waiting for. instead of building trust, the team threw it away. feels like a chain with no real purpose.

“Eclipse was a huge disappointment.”Eclipse caused significant harm to people. Under Alucart’s leadership, they created a community called ASC NFT and even claimed it would be more valuable than Pudgy Penguins. They held weekly AMAs to build trust, drove NFT prices up to $2,400, then used Bitz mining to drop it to $90 and effectively destroyed it. Currently, the NFTs are only worth $40–$50. People had purchased 330 NFTs, and the price fell to $0.18. Eventually, Alucart was ousted, and everyone started blaming each other. This was clearly a scam; people suffered huge losses, and they deserve to face justice

Eclipse came in hot with the promise of being the first Layer 2 SVM on Ethereum. Sounds revolutionary, right? But behind all the noise was a team that kept things vague, distanced itself from the community, and never gave us anything concrete to hold onto. The ASC collection, which was supposed to be the launchpad, ended up being a trap for true believers in SVM. This isn’t just a review—it’s a warning. Eclipse didn’t just waste potential, it betrayed its supporters. And for me, that’s enough to make this my first and firm negative review on Ethos.
