Dungeons of Fortune is a Web3 dungeon-crawler game that raised millions in April 2025 but abandoned the project shortly after launch, with the team going silent and no updates since late April. The token and NFT prices collapsed dramatically within 24 hours, and the project is widely characterized as a rug pull that left investors and players with significant losses. While a small minority praise the game's concept and mechanics, the overwhelming consensus describes broken promises, aggressive pay-to-win monetization, lack of transparency, and complete absence of communication or roadmap delivery.

“very suspicious”This project is very suspicious. It earned millions of dollars, but after some time, the developer has abandoned it. So, social media (x) and the website are now without updates and cannot be accessed.

“forgotten game-fi project”There's nothing really to say about this project. It is forgotten, since April the information and the product itself has not been updated in any way, their discord is also dead with no hint of resurrection. The project, based on what I could find, died almost immediately after launch. Their token is trading at zero, activity in the game is also zero. It looks like a project that was launched for quick profit collection, at the moment of Game-fi projects' hype on BASE without a single hint of further development

“Rug project with no idea”At first, the project looked like it had real potential. The team was active, talking about big plans and transparency, and people were genuinely excited. They raised a decent amount of money, then out of nowhere they just vanished. No updates, no explanations, the website is gone and the community is basically dead. Feels like the only goal from the start was to collect funds and disappear. Sad to see so many people lose their money because they trusted the promises.

“Are you disappointed too?”My disappointment of the year. The project failed to deliver on its promises. And its actions look like nothing more than a cash grab. Of course, I still hope that a miracle will happen. But my hopes are slim.

“A Questionable Project: FortuneDungeons”After checking out their Twitter, I realized it’s a crypto-related online game. This type of format isn’t for me, so I personally wouldn’t play it — though others might enjoy it. However, after reading the comments on Ethos, I came across numerous accusations claiming the project scammed its users out of a large amount of money — with some mentioning a staggering $3 million. Because of that, I don’t even want to continue discussing this project. I tend to trust the voices in the comments. Not recommended.

“Casino?!”Users play with virtual coins that cannot be directly exchanged for real money but can be used to participate in prize draws. The platform offers a large selection of slots, a mobile app, and registration bonuses, but has a limited choice of table games and requires verification to claim prizes.

“Game in the hole”It's an account about a P2E random who they gave up his profile and account Twitter about April. So, they abandonned the project probably.
