From 109 activities · Apr 2026Dungeons of Fortune is a Web3 dungeon-crawler game that raised millions in April 2025 but abandoned the project shortly after launch, with the team going silent and no updates since late April. The token and NFT prices collapsed dramatically within 24 hours, and the project is widely characterized as a rug pull that left investors and players with significant losses. While a small minority praise the game's concept and mechanics, the overwhelming consensus describes broken promises, aggressive pay-to-win monetization, lack of transparency, and complete absence of communication or roadmap delivery.

B0ttl3 · 1202· 10mo ago · negative10“Dungeons of Rug”Tried the game when it launched it actually had potential and was pretty fun at first. But then the team just vanished. No updates, no roadmap, no communication. After raising millions, the silence feels disappointing, especially for players who genuinely believed in the project. Maybe there’s still hope for a comeback, but right now it feels like the dungeon door’s been shut for good.

A.E. · 1141· 12mo ago · negative10“Hype heavy on chain game account with thin disclosures and WL first incentives”@FortuneDungeons reads like first party marketing rather than a source of verifiable signal. The timeline leans on WL and presale mechanics, hero mints and countdown posts that push urgency without offering independent audits or clear risk disclaimers. The core loop promotes a risk to earn model with gacha style $COINS mints and immediate burn talk, which amplifies degen engagement but does not explain sustainability or player protections. Big vanity metrics appear in feed posts, yet there is little third party corroboration or on chain receipts linked in context. Team presence feels mostly anon and transparency around treasury, emissions and security is minimal. Net net, this account is useful for official updates if you already play the game, but for Ethos it tilts toward hype, scarcity framing and FOMO rather than credible, evidence based information.

“Aggressive presale hype but no real substance”Over a million wallets connected and endless WL/referral pushes, yet there’s still no clear roadmap or gameplay showcase. It feels like they’re more focused on raising funds than delivering a project.

SteinEiriku · 1212· 1y ago · negative10“Fun for 2 Days, Then Dead Silence”The game itself had potential fun mechanics, active players, and solid early traction. But just two days after launch, it was over. The team disappeared completely, taking over $3M with them. No posts, no roadmap, no transparency. For a project that marketed itself as community-driven, this is the definition of a rug.

Built for believers.”@FortuneDungeons is more than just a Web3 gaming account—it's a real-time case study in how to build, scale, and energize a decentralized gaming ecosystem through storytelling, community engagement, and precision branding. From the very first glance, the profile reflects clarity of vision. Every post is tightly aligned with the project’s overarching narrative: a dungeon-crawling game where community and incentives merge into a rich, evolving world. But what truly makes the profile stand out isn’t just the product it represents—it’s how it communicates progress, invites participation, and builds conviction around its mission. What @FortuneDungeons does exceptionally well is consistency. Whether it’s a major update, leaderboard milestone, or daily quest call-to-action, the tone remains clear, focused, and value-driven. It avoids noise and filler, which is rare in the crowded world of Web3 marketing. Instead, the content delivers substance—measurable growth, user achievements, partnerships, and gameplay depth—all while preserving a strong sense of momentum. Another strength lies in how the account positions the community. It never talks at its audience. It speaks with them. Followers aren’t treated like consumers—they’re co-adventurers. This participatory dynamic has fostered an environment where engagement feels organic, not gamed. Players return not just for rewards, but because the narrative draws them back in. The project’s growing credibility is also evident in its partnerships. Backed by giants like Binance Labs, Solana, and Dragonfly, Dungeons of Fortune has attracted attention far beyond casual gaming circles. Yet the X profile never leans solely on these names—it uses them to anchor trust while letting the game itself speak through user metrics, community updates, and forward motion. One particularly notable feature is how the account balances professionalism with world-building. Despite operating as a brand, it still delivers personality—through language, visuals, and recurring themes that reinforce the dungeon universe. This blend of structure and storytelling is difficult to pull off, but @FortuneDungeons does it with style and focus. Of course, no project is without room to grow. Some users may wish for more transparency into the team or technical roadmap, and others might hope for deeper glimpses behind the scenes. But as a public-facing profile designed to maintain hype, build loyalty, and communicate progress—it’s doing everything right. In summary, @FortuneDungeons is a top-tier example of how to use X as a launchpad, not just for marketing, but for meaningful community formation. It captures attention without begging for it, builds belief without overpromising, and transforms its audience from followers into players, and from players into believers.

enoch Dè great〽️ · 1165· 1y ago10“Web3 Gaming”@FortuneDungeons presents an ambitious vision of gaming project, blending fantasy themes with on-chain mechanics. However, the account's heavy reliance on cryptic lore and poetic narratives often overshadows clear communication about the project's actual features and progress because playing this type of game in 2025 is just low, While the thematic content is engaging, it may leave followers seeking more concrete updates and transparency regarding development milestones and gameplay mechanics.

3700 · 1178· 1y ago · negative10“scammers”they rug pulled the game and the whole money that they received from the initial offering. Simply vanished for more than 15 days and later typed a single tweet for the hope of more funds and has been missing in action ever since with no communication and no transparency on any of the project parts. Simply rug pulling and causing more damage to credible projects in web3

Fluxion · 1223· 1y ago · neutral12“Game-Fi on Base”Fortune Dungeons is an onchain dungeon-crawling game built on Base. Players mint heroes, explore dungeons, and earn $COINS, the game’s native token. The project has raised $2M and surpassed 20,000 dungeon runs. It blends Game-Fi mechanics with collectible assets and tokenized rewards, aiming to make onchain gameplay engaging and repeatable. Core features include hero progression, dungeon challenges, and Base-native integrations.
velvetdaisies · 1312· 1y ago · neutral12
velvetdaisies · 1312· 1y ago · neutral12“A Crypto Game Lost in Its Own Maze”The FortuneDungeons feels like a missed opportunity in the Web3 gaming space, falling short of the promise it aims to deliver. Positioned as a crypto game on the Base blockchain, FortuneDungeons markets itself as an action-packed dungeon crawler with a play-to-earn model, where players mint hero NFTs and chase loot through risky runs. However, the account’s presence is underwhelming, with sparse engagement and a lack of clarity that leaves potential players skeptical. Their posts, often repetitive promotions of hero minting or vague teases about “epic loot,” fail to inspire confidence or excitement. The tone feels overly salesy, like a pushy pitchman rushing you to buy in without showing enough substance—like touting $COINS rewards or Graveyard pools without clear explanations of mechanics or long-term value. Community interaction is minimal, with little effort to address questions or build a vibrant player base, which is critical for a game banking on NFT-driven loyalty. The concept of burning heroes upon death or long smelting periods for loot feels punishing rather than innovative, alienating casual players. FortuneDungeons’ ethos comes off as a half-baked gamble, lacking the polish and community focus needed to stand out in Web3’s crowded gaming arena.
