I like that it lowers the barrier so regular users (not just influencers) can earn rep and visibility. That said, the execution still feels a bit rough. A lot of the activity right now revolves around tagging their handle or repeating certain tasks, which can get repetitive and sometimes feels more like promotion than organic interaction. It’s clear they’ve generated hype, but the challenge will be making the system rewarding enough to keep people around once the novelty fades. Still, I think the core idea rewarding genuine participation instead of just speculation has real potential. If they can refine the mechanics and reduce the “tag-spam” feeling, this could grow into a solid SocialFi layer in the Sui ecosystem. I’m keeping an eye on it, but cautiously.

“Giverep”Giverep created a lot of hype on Twitter through MindShare. I came across the project on Twitter about 4 months ago. I still can’t say whether the outcome has been more positive or negative. I got involved with the project, but ended up leaving it halfway. So I can’t really give a solid opinion about its credibility.

“Rewarding”From what I heard and from my research I noticed that the excels at rewarding genuine community engagement and creator participation in the Suiecosystem. Not only that I noticed the structured loyalty programs with real partners (like IOTA, Ember Protocol, TydeShift), distributing actual crypto rewards to real users.

“ABANDONED PROJECT.”I JOINED GIVEREP IN 2024. AT FIRST THE TEAM SEEMED LIKE THEY HAD IT ALL PLANNED OUT. IT TURNED OUT THEY ARE SHADY AND NOT TRANSPARENT.THEY PROMISED IT WOULD BE A SHORT TERM AIRDROP BUT ITS BEEN MORE THAN 1 YEAR AND NOTHING HAS BEEN SAID ABOUT LISTING AND TGE. THEY FARMED AND DECEIVED THEIR COMMUNITY. LOOKING AT THEIR X PAGE, THE LAST TIME THEY UPDATED THE COMMUNITY WAS LAST YEAR DECEMBER. THEREFORE, I URGE EVERYONE TO BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS PROJECT.
