GiveRep is a SocialFi platform on Sui that converts X engagement into on-chain reputation points (REP), with a core concept that resonates with some users but faces persistent criticism. Supporters praise the idea of quantifiable reputation, clean interface, and structured loyalty programs with real partners, while detractors consistently cite engagement farming, unclear algorithms, lack of transparency around point calculations and reward distribution, bot-heavy spam on timelines, and long delays without token launch or clear roadmap—leaving many feeling the project prioritizes promotion over genuine value creation.

“Avoiding the Vicious Cycle”Some projects get caught in a vicious cycle that wastes your time and leaves you frustrated. GiveRap is heading exactly in that direction. Our time is valuable we didn’t earn it by wasting it.

“GiveRep: Reputation Rewarded for Web3 Action”GiveRep turns your Web3 social engagement into measurable reputation on Sui. Whether you’re posting original content, joining partner campaigns, or interacting meaningfully on X, you can earn REP points. The platform's leaderboard and gamified features make the experience engaging. There’s still uncertainty around what REP fully unlocks, but the foundations are strong. Worth following and participating for those who believe in the power of Web3 reputation, not just wallet size

“Giverep”giveRep’s X account is a textbook example of how a crypto project should market itself: clear, community‑centric, visually cohesive, and transparent. If you’re looking for a platform that not only talks the talk but walks the walk—delivering real‑world value and fostering an enthusiastic, supportive community—GiveRep’s X feed makes a compelling case. Their tweets strike a perfect balance between informative and engaging. Whether it’s a quick explainer on how the reputation‑earning system works, a showcase of successful community projects, or the occasional meme that taps into crypto culture, each post feels purposeful and adds value. The thread format is used masterfully, breaking down complex ideas into bite‑sized, digestible nuggets that make the tech feel accessible even to newcomers.

“More of Noise than Signal”Giverep is what comes out when you try to copy a project and also try to make it easy for users (allowing exactly what farmers want) so you can get more attention. Giving point (Rep) to obvious farmers that just tag you in whatever they tweet

“Kaito profi”It’s mostly about mirroring what Kaito does—sharing write-ups on Sui ecosystem projects to build reputation. While smaller investors can earn it too, so far there haven’t been any major airdrop opportunities linked to it.

““Consistency With a Touch of Spam””GiveaRap brings forward ideas that often get labeled as 'just hype, but the way he frames them shows there’s potential beneath the surface. The repetitive mechanics he promotes might feel tedious at times, but there’s an ambition to tie online participation to meaningful recognition. That’s a vision that could grow into something real.

“Reputation Builder Creating Trust Networks Daily”GiveRep's anonymous approach to building reputation systems helped me understand trust dynamics in Web3. Despite 79% positive rating, delivered consistent value through educational threads on social credibility. His green badge methodology for verifying authentic users prevented 3 scam attempts in my community. Recently launched reputation scoring framework adopted by 5 DAOs for member verification.

“Early moves, unclear future”The airdrop put GiveRep on the map, but questions remain about REP’s actual role beyond distribution. Reputation as a metric sounds strong in theory, yet the framework isn’t fully proven. Momentum is there, clarity isn’t.

“Rep[utation as a public good”Trust is one of the hardest things to build ,and giverep is making it easier by putting credibility where everyone can see and verify it. its not about chasing scores, its about about making recognition portable, fair, and truly earned,so communities can grow stronger without gatekeepers.

“Building Trust and Accountability in a Meaningful Way”From my personal experience, GiveRep has proven to be more than just a platform it’s a system that truly values transparency, trust, and positive community engagement. What I appreciate most is how it creates an environment where credibility is earned through genuine actions, not just empty promises.

“Interesting Concept, But Lacking Direction”@giverep presents an idea that has potential, but the execution feels inconsistent. The messaging often comes across as vague, making it hard to understand the core value or long-term vision. While the intent behind the project seems positive, the communication doesn’t always give followers a clear reason to stay engaged. With a more focused narrative and transparent updates, the account could build stronger trust and traction moving forward.
