From 118 activities · Apr 2026GiveRep is a SocialFi platform on Sui that converts X engagement into on-chain reputation points (REP), with a core concept that resonates with some users but faces persistent criticism. Supporters praise the idea of quantifiable reputation, clean interface, and structured loyalty programs with real partners, while detractors consistently cite engagement farming, unclear algorithms, lack of transparency around point calculations and reward distribution, bot-heavy spam on timelines, and long delays without token launch or clear roadmap—leaving many feeling the project prioritizes promotion over genuine value creation.

Pei · 1248· 8mo ago0“Emerging Reputation and Social Proof Protocol”GiveRep appears to be an early-stage project focused on decentralized reputation scoring, vouching mechanics, or social proof systems in web3 (likely tied to on-chain attestations or community-driven trust signals). The 77% positive vouch ratio is on the lower side compared to most established or high-consensus profiles/projects on the platform, with a noticeable split of neutral or skeptical sentiment visible. Early feedback in related channels shows some appreciation for the concept and clean initial interactions from testers, but there's recurring mention of slow progress, limited real adoption or usage data so far, vague updates, and questions around long-term utility or differentiation from similar tools. No major scam flags, exploits, or rug reports stand out yet, but with zero staked value and middling trust consensus, it's clearly still very unproven and lacks broad community conviction. Feels more experimental/speculative than solid at this point. I'd approach GiveRep with real caution — skip meaningful involvement or exposure for now, limit to tiny test interactions if curious, and wait for significantly higher positive sentiment, clearer on-chain traction, stronger metrics, and tangible delivery before considering it reliable. Standard heavy DYOR and skepticism apply here.

Grozy · 1231· 8mo ago · neutral0“thats Good Project”GiveRep is an interesting Web3 initiative that focuses on building reputation as a verifiable on-chain asset rather than an abstract social metric. By turning contributions, interactions, and trust into transparent reputation signals, GiveRep addresses one of the core problems in decentralized ecosystems: knowing who to trust without relying on centralized authorities.

It turns everyday interaction into a visible rep score, which makes being active feel a little less pointless and a lot more intentional. It’s not flashy and it’s still finding its footing, but that’s part of the charm. Feels like one of those early ideas that could quietly grow into something meaningful if it keeps the focus on real participation over noise.
