Native asset bridging without wrapped tokens is a huge advantage moving USDC or ETH between Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base with minimal fees (often under 0.10%) and instant finality just works. The unified liquidity model eliminates slippage issues I've had with other bridges, and I've never experienced failed transactions or stuck funds. The UX has improved dramatically over time. Early versions had long wait times, but now transfer speeds are competitive with any major bridge aggregator. Built on LayerZero's infrastructure, it's handled my transactions reliably for two years, including larger amounts without concern. The recent integration of PayPal USD across multiple chains shows real institutional adoption. For consistent cross-chain movement, Stargate remains my first choice.

The native L1 blockchain eliminates gas fees completely, which saves significant costs compared to trading on Ethereum L2s or other chains. Order execution is fast comparable to centralized exchanges and the on-chain orderbook provides full transparency. Liquidity on major pairs like BTC and ETH is deep enough for substantial positions without excessive slippage. The platform handles high volatility well, and I've never experienced downtime during major market moves. The interface is clean and intuitive for anyone familiar with traditional perp trading. My only critique is the limited selection of trading pairs compared to larger CEXs some altcoins I want to trade simply aren't available yet. That said, the team consistently adds new markets, and the core experience for available assets is excellent. For decentralized perp trading with CEX-like performance, Hyperliquid delivers.
