“About Orange DAO”Orange DAO is basically a founder-driven Web3 community that kicked off in 2021. It’s made up of more than 1300 alumni from Y Combinator founders, operators, and investors who all come together to help the next wave of crypto startups grow. The project is based in San Francisco and runs as a DAO, meaning members can actually vote on investments and major decisions. One of the biggest things they run is a 12-week fellowship program for Web3 founders. It’s kind of like a startup bootcamp wheree founders get mentorship, help with product direction, sales strategy, and polishing their pitch for investors. On the investment side, Orange dao has backed more than 100 startups across areas likee DeFi, DeSci, gaming, and blockchain infrastructure. Some of their portfolio companies include Kontigo.App, Puffpaw, and Cork Protocol. A lot of these deals are done alongside major VC firms like Andreessen Horowitz and IDEO CoLab Ventures. But honestly, one of the coolest parts is the community itself founders connecting through events, AMAs, and collaborations with Web3 infrastructure teams like zeroDev and socket.
