“not crypto native nor decentralized”I seriously cannot understand why this project is having so much attention here; It's not crypto native nor decentralized, It just feels like traditional finance trying to have its big slice, with the help of influencers and alike. This can be seen as success by many, but this platform is clearly not for me. To be fair, non of these conviction markets, prediction market or betting with extra steps are .. but their successes are not even surprising given the fact that only perpetuals trading and betting create a venue: at at least most of them are crypto native.

“Top competitor to Polymarket”Kalshi is a prediction market I’ve been hearing a lot about on x, it seems to come up in conversations pretty often, especially whenever people are discussing alternatives to Polymarket. I can’t really speak in depth about Kalshi’s tek or user experience because I haven’t personally used the platform yet buh from what I have seen, many people rank it right after Polymarket in the prediction market space, which is definitely interesting and says something about its growing reputation. For now though, I’d rather stay neutral. Until I have actually tried the platform myself and explored how it works

“Real compliance, questionable volume”The regulatory story is genuinely impressive — years of fighting the CFTC, winning in court, building a compliant infrastructure that nobody else has in the US. That moat is real. But 87% sports volume and numbers that scale suspiciously fast raise questions about organic demand versus wash trading. The compliance checks out. The volume I'm less sure about.

“Using this as an alternative to Poly”I got interested in this project in autumn '25. I have an account here and was betting on some events. However, there were commissions compared to Polymarket at the time, and the platform wasn't user-friendly enough for me, so I withdrew my funds and forgot about it. They also require KYC, which makes me think this platform is only suitable for the US and maybe the EU, but not for third-world countries. The MVP is working though, so it gets a neutral review from me.
