While my friends were changing their RPCs, I minted the public one without changing mine, and the NFT that came out was a samurai sword. It was a great opportunity for me. The art is cool, the community itself is pretty solid, and the team keeps building partnerships with all kinds of projects, whether it’s DeFi or layer project even outside Solana. It’s a good example for other communities to follow: NFTs shouldn’t just be about minting, X spaces, and Discord. It should be more than that and MadLads proves it.

The collection is tied to Backpack and its community is strong. Mad Lads holders have received several airdrops in the past simply for holding the NFT, and there’s speculation about more in the future.
