“awful work ethic and a long history of grifting (extracted mid 8 figures)”This guy extracted mid 8 figures out of his "Yat Labs" community. I was a Sr. CM for Yat Labs 2021-2023. I know how Naveen treats his community. I know all the grifting he did. He literally extracted mid 8 figures (double digit millions!) through Yat Labs without ever delivering 99% of the things that were promised. Naveen, as well as fluffypony, are behind Tari Labs and Yat Labs. Yat Labs was a massive grift that extracted MID 8 FIGURES (!!!) via fake advertising and never delivering promised features. They just used feature promo to temporarily boost sales, without ever planning to release any of those advertised features. The 888 x Yat "Realm" partnership was a grift you most likely have heard about at some point. The sale planned for 8888 NFTs to be sold @ 0.0888 ETH (280 USD on that day). A full sale would have yielded 2.488.640 USD (789 ETH). The number of Yat Realms sold - 1506 items for $421.680 (133 ETH) 888 claims Yat took the money and never delivered. Yat claims 888 took the money and never delivered. Where did the 400k go? It magically disappeared. Poof! Just like the double digit millions Yat Labs magically disappeared without actually developing their product. Yat did an AMA at some point, and Naveen basically said something along the lines of: "Not every partnership is about money. That's why we partnered with someone for a $2.5 million dollar mint and promised to deliver utility from our end without actually expecting any money, DUH!" 😹 This is slightly paraphrased, but he basically said this. “Always around lending expertise and rationale”I've always known Naveen to be a very knowledgeable and forward person - cutting through most of the bullshit and getting to the root of things in Spaces. I have enjoyed using products he's involved in building as well.
