Blast in particular disappointed users with ghosting after the TGE, undelivered promises to builders, abandoned ecosystem projects, and prolonged communication silence before eventual shutdown. “50/50”Built Blast & BLUR, essentially giving farmers the perfect tool to nuke NFT collections (airdrop) & went in a war with OS to kill royalties. Good builder, but not really for the community.

“Unjustified expectations, it's a pity.”i dont got like some specific complains but just got that bad feelin when what u expect and what u get is not same. it all started with big hype but then just went nowhere. like L2s were not even new back then but Pacman came in like boom kickin doors and makin noise fr. everyone talkin bout Blast and it was well deserved cuz the point farmin thing he droped – later all L2s copy it lol, even the trash ones. that already shows Pacmoon is kinda different. then the token drop happend. cant say it was huge or smth but also not a fail, just like ok. ppl who wanted more – idk bros maybe u didn’t understand how it works or just had too high hopes lol. anyway after the drop it still felt positive but then it all got weird. Pac just dissapeard, they tried that phone app thing with 1 page that lags like hell and don’t even do anything and its been buildin for like a year now no dev news, no updates, no real talk with community. just reposts and dry infos that dont say nothin and its not even just me feelin that way, projects started leavin the chain. like, u can see from my profile i'm active on Fantasy.top and whole community was prayin the game leaves that dead chain – and it finally did i don’t know what happend, like maybe its all manipulation, or maybe Pac just gave up on his baby, or maybe its really that hard. idk. but it just looks super sad now. hope the project show some signs of life soon, even if i already dont believe in it anymore.

“Farming and Hype King”Very mixed feelings about Pacman because he was able to build Blur a robust competitor to Opensea which is extremely difficult to do. However the farming pozinomics that made Blur a hit also it could be argued killed the NFT market and ending creator royalties. Which was a huge bummer. He was also able to generate a lot of attention with Blast - an L2 - using these same farming/ponzinomics - and to be fair it also dominated mindshare for quite a while. But of course all ponzi's eventually come to an end and so the question for me is can he ever build a business that doesn't require a ponzi? Something sustainable? Seems unlikely.

“a strong entrepreneur”Pacman is a builder and a solid entrepreneur. People might have different opionion about him from their personal experience around blur & blast. To me its quite clear that Pacman indentified a market gap within NFT trading and built an ecosystem around it. I also think he s quite sharp in ability to pivot when new/better ideas shows up. To be honest, I was a critics of the farming in blur, the blast model was aggressive but I kinda preferred the staking based farming, and with the blast mobile I actaully like the simple yield based clean slate superapp build out. So overall I think Pacman is a very strong entrepreneur and very ambitious builder. I would be keeping a close eye on what he does with Blast Mobile and next.
