“Rugged their KOLs”It appears like GOTCHI ran the LIBRA playbook and targeted KOLs as the exit liquidity. The scam here was that KOLs we're added to a Telegram channel in advance of the launch and we're told at the last minute that the token would be launched before the game. This seemed to create a nice bit of additional fomo to set up the KOLs. The token launched, the KOLs aped, and Gotchi dumped on their heads. For me the whole thing is nasty. We know that even though the KOLs were not technically "paid" - the payment is in fact the early awareness that the CA is going live. IMO this practice needs to end. Hopefully this will dissuade KOLs from taking part in the next project that attempts to do this type of launch. But probably not 😂Adam McBride · 1453· 1y ago · negative11
