“No real value, but farmed their users”You know the story - they farmed their users for months and in the end 50% were uneligible for the airdrop. The lucky ones (I was among them) got a separate quest to receive $20 for 6 months of torture: verify your hand in a buggy app, reverify again on claim, pay $5 for the claim and it seems that they didn't know about it themselves. What a shame.

“Creator Program full of bots”– 12 accounts appeared 24 times – A ton of obvious clone accounts – No blue checkmark (verified badge), under 30 followers each – None of their posts about Perle meet the criteria → Based on these practices, I rate this project as terrible.

“Useless product trying to look cool and farm users”Perles started with data annotation and labeling tasks. They wrote a lot of cool articles about AI and insisted that they are the one needed the most. But in reality this is not the way things work in AI. I have seen data science related work in web2 companies and solution providers which gives tasks to evaluate skills and give real tasks but in case of perle there were very few and same tasks for everyone. Nobody can know what kind of sense can be made of this useless process. after all this drama and campaigns farming users and VC, they announced airdrop. The very first step was to verify proof of uniqueness, which is not really a great thing for me as I operate from destop mode and I am hesitant to download an app just for this. They could have fisrt allowed to check by connecting the wallet or add it in a contract's read function. I think, there's still ways for decentralised data labeling, cleaning but this is not the right one.

“A good example of poor communication”It all started when the project made a huge splash on social media and garnered a massive following. Then came the first season of point farming, during which the site constantly crashed and made it impossible to work effectively with the project. Badges weren’t updating, and the team did nothing about it. Next, regarding communication. Personally, I wrote about a dozen reviews via the form on the site and duplicated some via Discord tickets. Not once did I receive a response. NOT ONCE. I don’t know who assembled the team of moderators and project representatives on Discord, but it’s a disaster. Most of the roles went to people connected to the moderators and the Discord team! There was absolutely no attention paid to quality! What did we get after the airdrop? A pittance of a distribution with a six-month vesting period and a crazy commission on the Solana network? Mine was $10! What started as a promising project has turned into yet another mess, discrediting itself as a project and as a team that can no longer be trusted!

“Disappointment”The project appeared with big funding, AI related and created a big fomo. However each single task required fee, imagine 200k people with that huge amount of money. The dapp was laggy most of the time. The communications for each contest or announcement were not clear enough imo. In the end the majority of the community was ineligible, for those who were eligible they got vesting for 6 months, or got 80% allocation burn for instant claim, even it costed 7% for claiming fee. Lets say if youre lucky enough to be eligible you might get about 20$, otherwise you get dust

“Typical outcomes of low-quality projects”Perle Labs initially attracted a great deal of attention. Given the unfavorable market conditions, it was one of the few projects where users could achieve significant gains with relatively low costs. But what about now? Not at all. They are classifying genuine users as non-human, while responding on Discord and X as if they are unaware of the issue. Even the moderator of the official Korean Telegram channel stated that they had not received any response from the team and were marked as “Not Eligible.” How can this even be called a project? What they have presented as a remedy is even more disappointing. They claim to be helping “Not Eligible” users through a Google Form, but in reality, that is far from the truth. The short application period and strict criteria clearly show how they perceive users who genuinely supported and actively participated in the project. Web3 continues to evolve. However, the majority will always be the users. The outcome for any project that fails to listen to its users is obvious. If a project deceives its users, it must be prepared to face the consequences.

“The Mod Problem”The staff is incredibly immature and clearly treats moderation as a status symbol rather than a responsibility. They arent looking for people who add value or keep the peace. they’re looking for "yes-men" willing to stroke their egos. If you aren't actively sucking up to the mods, don't expect to be noticed.

“Exploitative Airdrop Model Users Paid With Their Time, Data & Gas, Then Got Nothing”Perle Labs ran a months-long campaign asking users to label voice data, rate conversations, mint badges, and pay SOL gas fees, with points as the implicit promise of airdrop allocation. After the snapshot, the majority of legitimate participants were declared “not eligible”. I personally completed every task through legitimate means, no bots, no manipulation, and received zero allocation. Perle Labs raised $17.5 million from VCs while building their product on free community labor and user-generated data. Once they had what they needed, contributors were quietly cut out. * Do not participate in any campaign, token event, or product launch from Perle Labs or any associated team. Do not give them your data, your gas fees, or your time. A project that exploits its earliest contributors has no integrity worth trusting.

“negative review”The Perle project invited the community to participate in the development of the artificial internet, usually by completing specific tasks. https://x.com/PerleLabs/status/2013220513313907106 When completing community tasks, participants were asked to pay the project a commission of 0.00009 sol per task. After the end of the first season, before distributing the community rewards, the Pearle project conducted a campaign to cancel the airdrop en masse. There are no criteria for receiving the reward. Therefore, the project profited from the commission, but the community did not. This looks like a scam.
