Clean process, solid project curation, and an investor base that's more serious than most CT crowds. Got access to rounds I wouldn't have seen otherwise. The Coinbase acquisition adds legitimacy and runway curious where it goes from here but the foundation is strong.

DATA Foundation is working in that direction. The foundation structure gives it some legitimacy and staying power versus typical token projects. Progress has been gradual rather than explosive which is either sustainable building or slow momentum depending on how you read it.

Legion tries to do something harder reward contribution. The merit score system isn't perfect, and oversubscribed launches can still feel frustrating, but the intent and execution are serious. The team engages with the community and has shown they take user feedback seriously. That alone puts them above most of the competition.

on LEGION · 1548· 4mo ago0“Built something that actually lasted”Azuki is one of the few NFT projects that actually delivered something lasting beyond the hype. The introduction of ERC721a was a genuine technical contribution to the ecosystem it reduced gas costs on batch mints significantly, and the standard has been adopted far beyond just Azuki holders. On top of that, the anime aesthetic they pioneered became a template that dozens of projects tried to copy without success. The community they built is unusually tight and creative full of artists, developers, and builders who stuck around even through the rough patches. The IP is still expanding, the brand recognition is real, and for a PFP project from 2022 still having relevance in 2025 is impressive in itself.

on Azuki · 1742· 4mo ago0“All hype, no accountability”Believe has been around long enough to build a real reputation, and what they've built is mostly skepticism. The platform concept sounds compelling on paper tokenizing creator economies but the execution has been messy, the incentives have attracted more speculators than genuine supporters, and accountability from the team has been minimal when things go wrong. A score this low on Ethos doesn't happen by accident. The community feedback speaks for itself.

Changed resolution rules mid-market, blocked "death markets" selectively while leaving sports markets untouched, and had the audacity to lobby against Polymarket while positioning themselves as the good guys. The engineering might be solid the BD and comms teams clearly aren't.

Whatever legitimate research they've produced over the years, the business model turned out to be exactly what critics accused it of. The research isn't free, the market just paid for it differently than they thought.

After holding funds for nearly a year, they flipped to a 6-month vesting schedule. When people committed capital based on specific conditions, changing those conditions afterward is a breach of trust regardless of how it's framed. Add to that broken KYC data for beta users sitting unresolved for 3+ months, and you have a team that consistently prioritizes its own interests over its community.

In a space full of projects you have to trust blindly, Megapot is the opposite. That alone puts them ahead of 90% of what's out there.

on Megapot · 1496· 5mo ago0“Knows when to move”Rune's been around long enough to recognize when a chain's cycle is done. Watched him navigate the BSC meta well early on narratives, not chasing tops. The shift to Base feels like the same pattern: positioning ahead of the crowd rather than following. Spaces are worth tuning into when he's breaking down a setup.
