“Those who betray their community once will do so again.”I played for a few weeks, and here’s what I realized: they initially set outrageously high prices for the game. Given that the game is simplistic and doesn’t require massive investments, we were paying without any monetary rewards at first. When rewards were introduced, they were only for the whales, and I doubt anyone who made it to the prize pool actually profited. I was close to the prize ranks myself and clearly understood that even if I got there, I’d earn pennies while my costs were far higher. Then came the news that they were shutting down their project on another network, which had been running for years, and moving exclusively to Abstract. I read reviews from people who spent a lot of money on in-game items, and naturally, they lost everything. They casually abandoned their community and shifted to Abstract, expecting us to bring them our money now.Such actions left me with an extremely negative impression of the team, and I haven’t spent another dollar on this game.

“When an interesting idea collides with reality”I first heard about pirates a long time ago. And I didn't hear about it in the context of it being a cool game that you can spend an hour or two playing. It was in the context of making money. This confused me greatly, as games should have a different purpose. As a result, some of my friends got hooked on this game, making paid purchases and investing in it. They justified this by saying that it would pay for itself and that they could make money from it. As a result, the game is now closing down. People are promised rewards, but it is not yet known when and how much they will receive. Those who started playing at the beginning seem to be in the black and doing well. Those who joined the game in the middle are not. This is a great example of how a game should be a game first and foremost.

Your communication was too late and vague. Many felt blindsided by the changes to token rewards and vesting rules for Season 3. People accuse you of slipping in VIP requirements only at the end, which breaks trust not builds it. Gameplay was harsh on time. The grind, repetitive content and demands for daily runs pushed players away. Now your pivot to focusing on the arcade and $PIRATE token reads like a retreat from your original vision. You had potential. But the execution fell short. Many feel left holding promises with no foundation. I believed in project from the very beginning to the end. Thank you.
