“My OG Chain (XRPL)”In our journey in Web3, we surely started from something. And I could say that XRPL has been a great part of mine. Before I dived into different blockchains and stuff, as a newbie the first thing I tried to learn was trading futures, but since I was still inexperienced I always got burned lmao. I didn’t have enough money to learn and practice at that time, I was like a broke high school boy who just wanted to do something for himself. But then I found a safer play and more newbie friendly one by doing airdrops. Back then XRPL was the most hyped chain for airdrops, and I don’t know if anyone here remembers that, but airdrops at that time were not so complicated. You just had to set up the trustlines of these new projects and if you got lucky you’d get their tokens. That was it, setting up a trustline would only take you like a minute. That’s pretty much how I started my Web3 journey, but I had to leave it again after a year to focus on my studies because it was really affecting me. And I don’t want to be biased here, XRP and XRPL have been a great part of me, but yeah there are still things that need to be addressed, like centralization concerns since Ripple holds a large portion of supply, founders dumping lol, and the slow ecosystem growth compared to new L1s. But despite all this FUD, we can’t deny that XRP has been around for a decade and is still standing strong. Winning against the SEC gave Ripple and XRP new life, and Ripple’s focus on payments and remittances keeps XRP relevant with banks and institutions. And mind you, XRP has one of the best communities out there. That’s why I’m still positive about them, I don’t see them going away anytime soon.

“Rails for banking”I’ve looked into Ripple’s products and saw how a bunch of banks across different countries are rolling them out. But honestly, that’s about as far as my experience with the project goes.

“my first buy”Ripple was my first real win in crypto and it set the goal for me. Fast transactions, low fees and a clear vision for real world utility. Its more than just hype, its one of the few projects focused on solving actual financial problems. Solid tech, strong community and long term potential. Glad it was my first good buy
