From 4 activities · Aug 2026Saga launched with strong developer-focused infrastructure for low-cost blockchain deployment and scalability, but has struggled with execution and token value erosion since launch. While some appreciate the flexibility for gaming and Web3 apps, critics point to slow progress, dilutive airdrops, unclear roadmap pivots toward AI, core team departures, and lack of tangible product delivery over the past 1–2 years.

I've received airdrops from associated gaming-type projects... and the truth is, they were terrible, and the token doesn't look like it's going to recover anytime soon.

What I like most about the project is the flexibility it offers developers. Being able to launch your own blockchain easily and at a low cost is actually a huge advantage. For teams building games, social apps, or different Web3 experiences, the infrastructure Saga provides looks very appealing. Another point is scalability. When you think about the congestion and high fees that many Layer-1 and Layer-2 projects face today, Saga’s different approach feels important. The idea that every application can run on its own chain could improve both performance and user experience. Of course, the competitive side can’t be ignored. There are strong rivals in this space, and for Saga to truly stand out, it needs to grow its ecosystem quickly. If developers and the community embrace the vision, Saga could secure a solid position for itself. Otherwise, despite being a good idea, it also runs the risk of falling behind.

kratos · 1228· 1y ago4“From chainlet to AI”I dont know what happened with saga currently, in the past they are so fckn great, i think this one gunna be next virtual protocol a.k.a Virtual Cosmos but im wrong. Team changing, Roadmap not clear, Pivot to ai like meme coin, core team looks like left from saga, i dont know what happened now. Team always saying about ai this about ai that with no product so far, looks like money laundry or VC need exit liquidity in the last bull. No one good news from saga in the last 1 or 2 years, bridge exploit, mcap down every days when, no roadmap, no works plan, they just saying ai this ai that ai usecase ai sht. Trash product.
