From 19 activities · Apr 2026Smokey is the Chief Smokey Officer and co-founder of Berachain, known for consistent community engagement, transparent communication about ecosystem growth, and active presence during both the project's early success and subsequent challenges. Early testers received substantial rewards and airdrops, though the chain has struggled with token price and TVL decline post-launch. While widely praised for personality, accessibility, and fostering builder culture on Berachain, some view the project as an unsuccessful extraction despite the $100M raise at $1.5B valuation.

“The Brains and Charm Behind Berachain”Smokey The Bera blends sharp technical vision with unforgettable branding. As co-founder of Berachain, he’s pushed the innovative Proof of Liquidity model while keeping the culture playful and engaging. From building a resilient, decorrelated ecosystem to making the bear brand a community icon, Smokey shows you can be serious about infrastructure without losing the fun that keeps people coming back.

“Smart Beer”Bera is a very smart bear who has a direct connection to two projects I’ve worked on in the past and continue to engage with today. The first is the card game Fantasy Top on the Base blockchain (L2), and the second is, of course, the bear-themed project Berachain, an L1 PoL solution. Both projects remain highly relevant. In one, Bera is part of the team; in the other - Fantasy Top - he is featured as a game hero (a card), which often performs very well in matches. Many players hold his cards and actively follow his Twitter, where his presence and activity are significant. Bera frequently posts about the progress of Berachain, market insights, and even broader ethos-related topics. He also shares his personal journey in crypto, making his content both engaging and valuable for the community.

“Mastermind Behind Berachain”@SmokeyTheBera is the mastermind behind Berachain’s wild ecosystem, hyping up DeFi builders and cool projects with their Proof of Liquidity vibe. They’re all about keeping things transparent and building a dope community! Right now, Smokey’s out here on X, chatting up Berachain, backing awesome projects, and clearing up OTC drama with a super chill attitude. The X crowd’s loving it—@Jai_Bhavnani ’s stoked about their quick responses, while @Cbb0fe ’s just itching for Boyco to drop!

luke · 1280· 1y ago12“Community meme profile with large reach but lacks depth, originality, or technical value.”The profile relies heavily on memes, giveaways, and low-value reposts to maintain engagement. While it has reach, there's little to no technical depth, originality, or builder signal. Lacks meaningful contributions to the ecosystem and feels more like a personality brand than a constructive presence in Web3.
