From 19 activities · Apr 2026Smokey is the Chief Smokey Officer and co-founder of Berachain, known for consistent community engagement, transparent communication about ecosystem growth, and active presence during both the project's early success and subsequent challenges. Early testers received substantial rewards and airdrops, though the chain has struggled with token price and TVL decline post-launch. While widely praised for personality, accessibility, and fostering builder culture on Berachain, some view the project as an unsuccessful extraction despite the $100M raise at $1.5B valuation.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how far the chain will go I interacted with them during their testnet and it was quite interesting and still holding some $Bera tokens, also looking forward to seeing how NFTs on Berachain will fare during this incoming NFT surge

stellarobject · 2063· 14d ago · negative3““Still here, still building””When most founders fade after hype dies, Smokey doubled down. He’s active, open, and doesn’t shy away from the hard conversations. That’s rare in this space, and that’s exactly why Bera has a culture others try to copy.

Styled as the “Chief Smokey Officer,” this account serves as a curated feed for everything happening within Berachain—from testnet launches and ecosystem project updates to community events and partnerships. With over 126,000 followers since its launch in late 2021, it has become a central information hub for builders and fans of the network. The account primarily shares retweets and highlights from across the Berachain community, acting more as a social amplifier than a source of original thought or technical commentary. While it doesn’t offer in-depth analysis, the tone is consistently lighthearted, meme-friendly, and community-first—making it a perfect fit for the culture Berachain promotes. The bio clearly states that likes and retweets do not equal endorsements, maintaining transparency on its intent and affiliations. For Ethos Network readers exploring different ecosystems, @SmokeyTheBera is a great example of how a mascot account can serve as a unifying voice for a growing L1 community. It’s especially valuable for those building within Berachain or simply tracking its development. While its content scope is narrow and focused, that specialization makes it highly relevant for anyone seeking timely Berachain updates without the noise. In short, @SmokeyTheBera doesn’t just represent Berachain it embodies it.

“Berachain Boss”Smokey is a founder of Berachain which is anticipated to do very well this year in 2025. From what I've seen, he seems to take his time to do things the right way, allowing Berachain to become a success. Remains to be seen what happens in the future, but right now he is considered reputable.

“Every projects founder want's community member like this”Not just participating — actively shaping the narrative. Helping new builders navigate the tooling stack, amplifying developer updates, and fostering stronger coordination between node operators, liquidity providers, and governance participants. This is exactly the kind of member every thriving network needs: someone who merges technical understanding with community leadership, lifting others while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Building the future of decentralized infrastructure, one block at a time, but Smokey The Bera already knows that consistansy and hard work is the key to futur in this crypto field.

Rihards.ETH🚀📊🎒 · 1237· 1y ago8“The Heartbeat of Berachain”Smokey The Bera isn’t just a name in the Berachain ecosystem they’re the energy that keeps it alive. For years, they’ve been the go-to person for anyone trying to wrap their head around Berachain’s vision. Whether it’s hyping up $BERA, explaining Proof of Liquidity vaults in 3 tweets, or brainstorming wild ideas like tokenizing Amazon e-stores, Smokey’s got that “let’s make this real” vibe. They don’t just talk crypto they build it, with a clarity that turns complex ideas into actionable steps.
