Smokey is the Chief Smokey Officer and co-founder of Berachain, known for consistent community engagement, transparent communication about ecosystem growth, and active presence during both the project's early success and subsequent challenges. Early testers received substantial rewards and airdrops, though the chain has struggled with token price and TVL decline post-launch. While widely praised for personality, accessibility, and fostering builder culture on Berachain, some view the project as an unsuccessful extraction despite the $100M raise at $1.5B valuation.

“Smokey is one of those founders that have the community in mind first before anything”

“Bera maniac.”Bera Maniac is one of those characters you just can’t ignore. He shows up everywhere Berachain is mentioned dropping memes, insights, spicy takes, and living online 24/7. Feels like he doesn’t sleep — only breathes BERA. He’s like a walking mood indicator for the community: if the maniac is active, something’s definitely happening. Sometimes a bit over the top, but that’s the charm — he’s passionate, and that stands out. So yeah, if you’re not following him yet — you should. Worst case, you’ll get a few laughs. Best case, you’ll catch some alpha.

“The Mascot-Turned-Voice of Berachain’s Culture”Smokey isn’t just “marketing” - he’s the mascot and cultural anchor of the Bera ecosystem. His posts and RTs reflect what’s actually cooking in Berachain, from credit protocols to hacker house vibes. Relatable Voice: Mixes serious ecosystem signals with meme-y, lighthearted “bullposting.” This balance keeps both builders and degens engaged. Network Effect: With 123K followers and direct ties to the Berachain Foundation + projects like Build-a-Bera, Smokey amplifies projects instantly across the ecosystem. Smokey The Bera is the cultural face of Berachain - part meme, part community curator, part unofficial ecosystem evangelist. He doesn’t give you full-on alpha threads, but if you want to track what’s hot in the Bera eco and catch the culture firsthand, Smokey is the timeline you need.

“Blockchain Layer 1 Bera Chain”Bera Chain là một Blockchain Layer 1 nổi tiếng với sự phát triển nhanh, mạnh cũng như được sự ủng hộ từ rất nhiều quỹ đầu tư, KOL. Hiện tại tuy lượng TVL cũng như tx đã giảm (theo tình hình thị trường hiện tại) nhưng đây vẫn là một blockchain Layer1 đầy tiềm năng

“The Meme Bear with a Message”Smokey the Bera is more than just a funny name—he’s a standout voice in the crypto community blending humor, culture, and insight. I first came across him through the Ethos network, and immediately felt his unique vibe. While his persona is playful, Smokey consistently drops thoughtful takes on crypto, governance, and community building. He’s active, sharp, and knows how to engage without the usual ego. Whether he’s memeing about market chaos or supporting on-chain innovation, there’s always a layer of meaning behind the jokes. Smokey brings levity to a space that often takes itself too seriously. In a sea of noise, Smokey the Bera is a reminder that Web3 can be smart, fun, and deeply human—all at once.
