“Decentralization lets anyone build, but not everything is worth your time. This L1? Probably not.”When you work on a project, complete the tasks they ask, but then only get rewarded in drips or worse, have to redo tasks and spend money just to claim part of the reward—that’s nothing short of mocking the trust and sacrifice of users. Now, about this new L1: nobody really asked for it. I’ve seen reviews from months back hyping it as “the fastest L1,” but maybe it’s only fast because no one’s actually using it. The mainnet only launched a few days ago, and while decentralization allows anyone to build anything, we should be honest almost no one knows this project, and another L1 is probably unnecessary. I could be wrong, but before investing your time or energy into their ecosystem, do your own research. They might inflate their stats later, so better to be cautious now.

“Top 3 L1”Somnia is one of the few L1s that actually delivered what it promised. Ran a lot of tests on Iceberg testnet and mainnet - the numbers hold up: 300k to over 1M real TPS, sub-second finality, fees stay under a cent even under heavy load. For anyone building real-time games or metaverses this is the first chain that finally removes the speed vs EVM compatibility trade-off. Team shipped mainnet quietly, addressed the early issues fast (Hacken audit came back clean), and the current dev tooling is genuinely better than most established chains right now. Airdrop execution was messy, no denying that, but the tech and roadmap are solid. If you're tired of paying 20 dollars in gas to move a pixel, Somnia is the real deal. Holding and building here. 9.7/10 - easily one of the three most underrated L1s this cycle.
