“Disappointment of the Year”I believed in this project and dedicated a lot of time working in it. I studied every quest and contributed faithfully. Yesterday, TGE finally happened, and it was terrible. The team decided, instead of giving tokens to the users who had been testing their games for a long time, to allocate a larger amount through Binance Alpha and Bybit. They bought the spot on Binance, even though every project listed there right now tends to drop immediately. Who made these decisions? Why? Couldn’t they see how projects behave without Binance Alpha? Even a regular user could have noticed. As a result, Binance premarket valued Somnia at a peak of $1.8 a week before TGE, and I, as a true believer in the project, did not hedge my future rewards. The tokens launched at $0.5… Honestly, all the effort I put into this project ended up being worth almost nothing. I feel sorry for those who have been part of this project for a long time and invested so much effort. I hope the developers can fix the situation and secure listings on Upbit, Coinbase, and Kraken. I don’t know if it will save things, but it might. In most communities, the vesting is 20% of allocation over 2 months, and I hope we won’t get just pennies when unlocked. Simply awful… Hopes were high. My disappointment mirrors that of many others.

“The Big Mistake Somnia Made”Even though the Somnia team eventually gave their NFTs the value they deserved, the truth is that during the listing phase, everything they did only benefited Binance. I find it completely unreasonable that projects keep giving away millions of dollars’ worth of tokens to Binance without them doing anything in return. Binance simply doesn’t hold the same weight in the market anymore. But sadly, during TGE, projects like Somnia ignore their real users and instead give the biggest allocations to Binance Alpha groups. Regular users only get their tokens after the price has already crashed. That’s not valuing your community that’s taking advantage of it. Somnia made this exact mistake. And the result? Nobody is going to talk about Somnia anymore. Because once you lose your community’s trust, it’s almost impossible to get it back, no matter what you do. My advice: don’t turn your back on your community. Don’t be like Somnia.

But the more I watched, the more it felt like marketing talk without much to back it up. The ecosystem doesn’t feel mature, and the communication often sounds more like hype than real progress. For me, Somnia ended up being more noise than delivery, and it’s hard to see real value here right now.
