“The team pleased me with their dedication to the community”Somnia is built on a DeFi gaming platform. After four months of testnet activity, the team has now launched the checker tool. While the premarket price movement might not have been what some expected, it’s still a fairly reasonable adjustment for a project at this stage. I really like the team’s approach of burning gas fees for transactions within the network. This won’t just help stabilize the tokenomics but also support the long-term growth of their blockchain. I’m looking forward to the mainnet release and the upcoming integrations that will expand the ecosystem. I’ll be holding the tokens I received from the team in anticipation of a strong future for Somnia.

“I am still on bullish”Although the Somnia airdrop didn’t fully meet expectations, I’m still bullish on the project. Unlike others, it encourages longer-term usage, which increases the likelihood of still holding tokens during a potential altseason.

“Growing step by step”I ve been around Somnia since season 2 of the testnet, so it s been wild to watch how much the project evolved by the time season 4 wrapped up and season 5 kicked off. What stood out to me was how consistent the team has been with rolling out new features while keeping the community engaged. It never felt rushed, more like a steady build where each step adds something meaningful. Now with TGE right around the corner, there’s this feeling that all the testing and grinding is about to pay off. Somnia gives off the vibe of a project that’s here for the long run, not just a quick cycle.

“Great Tech, But Airdrop Distribution Frustrated the Community”Somnia is clearly one of the more ambitious L1 projects with fast, EVM-compatible infrastructure, and the vision is impressive. But the recent airdrop became a major disappointment for many community members. Out of the 1B $SOMI supply, only 5% (50M) was allocated to the drop. Most went to testnet users (41M), while contributors got 3M, Quills holders 2M, and Yappers just 1M. Validators were promised 100M (10%), while 8% was reserved for development. This structure left a lot of active supporters feeling under-rewarded compared to expectations, and many voiced frustration about fairness and transparency. While the tech is promising, the way the airdrop was handled damaged trust. If Somnia wants to grow, it must listen to its community first

I like how the team interacts with its users and how they have built their platform for exciting user testing. It's not boring, but really engaging and beneficial. All quests on the platform are gamified, simple, and easy for users to complete. The project constantly hosts various events to interact with the community, and this is exactly what attracts users. Fast transactions, TPS, and an active community build a solid foundation for the development of Web3 games and metaverses with Somnia support.

I've been creating content for the project as a Master Creator for about five months and am the OG role holder. I must say that the Discord modes are very active and professional. The Somnia team is comprised entirely of professional and knowledgeable individuals. They know how to actively utilize social media and stay on top of trends. With their Yan X accounts, they categorize topics like gaming, ecosystem, and yapper, reaching out to the wider community. The founder and marketing leader regularly interact with end users, listen to them, and support them. Even when they're wrong, they admit it openly, which is an enviable trait.
