The team behind Somnia is clearly hardworking, constantly improving the platform, and the community is very supportive, helping new projects get off the ground. “what gaming needs”Just spent some time diving into Somnia Network, and honestly, it’s shaping up to be one of the more interesting L1s I’ve tried. I love that it’s EVM compatible. Deploying smart contracts felt smooth, no weird delays, which is a blessing compared to some chains I won’t name. I hopped into the Somnia Gaming Week and tried a few of their Web3 games. The experience was surprisingly polished across browser, mobile, and Steam. Games like Maelstrom running on-chain mechanics? Pretty dope tactical naval combat with real blockchain rewards feels like the future. Somnia’s worth keeping on your radar. Not perfect yet, but it’s got real legs.

“Solid Tech, Still Developing”Somnia has some impressive technology. It’s fast, low-cost, and designed for gaming, social apps, and virtual worlds. The team behind it is strong, and they have serious backing from big investors. However, the platform is still early. Some apps and quests in the testnet crash or take too long, and the user experience could be smoother. Overall, it’s a project with potential, but it’s not fully polished yet.

“a project with potential and problems”somnia has some good things going for it the tech promises high performance and its suposed to be fast and cheap for gaming the community seems realy nice too a lot of ppl say it feels like home which is cool but on the other hand theres some real issues people are talking about ive seen the testnet and it has some bugs that need fixing and some people feel its overhyped saying its another L2 without a clear purpose so its a mixed bag it has potential for sure but also some things to work on it will be interesting to see where they go from here

“The best of The best”Somnia is the best layer 1 in 2025 for me. While other layer 1 projects are trying to release tokens as fast as possible then dump users and die. Somnia does the opposite, they build the community slowly and steadily. And when the time is right, they release tokens. The number of tokens they allocate is very reasonable, I have nothing to complain about. I love somnia. Big W!
