Starknet is a ZK-rollup with solid technology—STARK proofs, Cairo language, low fees, and account abstraction—but faces severe community backlash centered on its airdrop distribution. The snapshot criteria excluded active users who lacked ETH balance despite using the network, and dismissive team communication (notably calling community members "e-beggars") fractured trust.
