From 44 activities · Apr 2026Starknet is a ZK-rollup with solid technology—STARK proofs, Cairo language, low fees, and account abstraction—but faces severe community backlash centered on its airdrop distribution. The snapshot criteria excluded active users who lacked ETH balance despite using the network, and dismissive team communication (notably calling community members "e-beggars") fractured trust. Post-TGE, the token price collapsed dramatically, user activity dried up, and the project is widely perceived as having prioritized insiders over genuine supporters, leaving it labeled a "ghost chain" despite its technical merit.

billymoor · 1344· 1y ago · negative8“No Joy, No love”Their attitude towards the community was nothing to be proud of. I had high hopes for this project and I did put in my all right from the days of buggy transaction and hours of testing and paying ridiculous fees for gas. OG role meant nothing and eventually it was all for nothing. Really poor execution at TGE.

Hakan · 1627· 1y ago · negative9““Starknet: Strong tech, weak execution””Starknet started with a big vision to scale Ethereum using STARK proofs. It also planned to connect with Bitcoin, which made it stand out. On paper, this looked like a strong project with serious funding and advanced technology. The reality has been very different. The airdrop was managed poorly and upset many loyal users who supported the network early. Bots and opportunists got most of the rewards, while real contributors were left out. That destroyed a lot of trust. The STRK token price has been falling since launch and the ecosystem feels empty with very few quality dApps. Several projects like ZkLend have already shut down. Today, Starknet has very low activity and no strong reason for users to stay. If you want to explore Layer 2 solutions, Arbitrum or Optimism have far better ecosystems and active communities. Starknet still has good technology, but without clear communication and a real roadmap, it looks like another failed. Only use Starknet if you want to experiment with its tech. For real adoption or investment, there are better options.

Anthony Pavelko · 1141· 1y ago · negative7“Disappointing Updates and Lack of Clarity”Following @Starknet has been underwhelming. Most of the posts feel more like promotional noise than useful information, and it is hard to get a clear idea of what is actually happening with the project. For a network that has built up so much expectation, the communication often feels rushed or incomplete. Another issue is that the content lacks personality. It comes across as polished marketing rather than something that connects with the community, which makes it harder to trust or engage with. There are moments when important details are missing, leaving people more confused than informed. Overall, @Starknet doesn’t deliver the type of insight or transparency that many of us look for in a major project. It feels like a missed opportunity to build stronger trust with the community.

CryptoPoti · 1164· 1y ago · negative7“I always had a feeling”I don't know what it was, but since the day I started using it, I wasn't into it. I was just doing it because there was gonna be an AirDrop and I got a pretty good AirDrop allocation and I kept some of it in my wallet for the future but future didn't happen. The team didn't believe in it. another dead chain in the books.

Tapha · 1067· 1y ago6““Lost Potential””I really wanted to believe in Starknet, but using it felt like walking in circles. The drop was poorly handled, incentives didn’t reward the real users, and the ecosystem keeps bleeding value. Instead of building momentum, the team looks disconnected from the community. Starknet could have been a leader in L2, but right now it feels like wasted time and funds.
