Starknet is a ZK-rollup with solid technology—STARK proofs, Cairo language, low fees, and account abstraction—but faces severe community backlash centered on its airdrop distribution. The snapshot criteria excluded active users who lacked ETH balance despite using the network, and dismissive team communication (notably calling community members "e-beggars") fractured trust. Post-TGE, the token price collapsed dramatically, user activity dried up, and the project is widely perceived as having prioritized insiders over genuine supporters, leaving it labeled a "ghost chain" despite its technical merit.

“shitty chain”starknet farmed its users and they way the crashed hard after the airdrop no other chain plunged like this . one of the biggest mistake i did was have confidence in starknet still holding their airdrop.

“not community centric, and that isn't proper. Maybe i'm a tad bit biased because of my bad experience with starknet.”

“Good tech but the token is not good like the tech”Starknet technology is impressive, bringing advanced zero-knowledge proofs and scalability solutions that position it as a strong Layer 2 contender. However, the token side has been less compelling. The launch was met with criticism due to a high fully diluted valuation (FDV), and since then, the token's market performance has not reflected the strength of the underlying tech. While the ecosystem continues to grow, the gap between technical innovation and token value remains a concern for many in the community.

“ZK og”You can say whatever you want about starknet, but they have built good infra. Their low score is mainly due to angry airdrop farmers that didn't get what they hoped. While making the community happy is an important part we can't judge a project credibility only by that parameter. I think their score atm is excessively low.
