MCG.eth · 1265· 1y ago · negative11“Most Blatant Rug”This is top of my list for the most blatant rug, actually topping even Keungz project 500 keys were sold at 2.5 eth each, promising private VC deals, investment opportunities and the top rung in the hierarchy of the Earpitz ecosystem NFTs NOT EVEN ONE deal or investment opportunity materialized, and neither did the ecosystem From day one it was just people in Discord actually confused about what the value of the keys was The most memorable occasion where holders were used as exit liquidity was to mint the stupid OliveX genesis NFTs, a plant in the channel "borrowed" 200 ETH from the founder to mint, creating fake FOMO The entire thing amounted to 10 or 15 raffles with a few dozen prizes, 90% of which were completely worthless I am sad to say I was a victim of this scam, but only because of my own greed. There were smart people shouting that it was a scam almost from Day 1 but I chose to close both eyes The founder has deleted his X account Good riddance!
