UMI is a Move VM-based blockchain platform for building secure, scalable dApps with tools for cross-chain protocols, SocialFi, identity, gaming, and tokenization. The testnet demonstrates fast performance with claim and bridge transactions completing in seconds, backed by developer resources including documentation, faucets, and grants. The project is transitioning to an EVM-based architecture under the new name SightEVM.
