“P2W Tester Trap”Played Age of Dino for several months and it was basically a $500+ NFT tax with no real game underneath. Paid for NFTs that promised gameplay advantages and better rewards - watched developers abandon the entire project without warning. The whole model was sketchy from the start - entry barrier being expensive NFTs, different reward tiers based on what you spent, and zero transparency about what would actually happen with the game. We were beta testers funding their development, not players. Then radio silence. Team just dipped. The game went offline and that was it. Months of grinding gone, NFT investment worthless, zero communication. If you're thinking about joining early access games that require buying NFTs before you even know if the game is good - don't.
