“Restaking project with gaps in community management”Before I begin, I would like to make a lyrical digression, namely to talk about how a person's healthy opinion is formed by going through a certain path. I am by no means holding a position of hatred or bias towards the project, but am simply writing about real problems that have led to some resentment towards the staff. Symbiotic positions itself as an innovative platform for restaking, offering users the opportunity to engage assets in the ecosystem and earn additional income. The idea is built around the concept of decentralized solutions, where the community plays a key role in support and development. At first glance, the project looks promising, given the growing interest in such models and their significance for the DeFi sector. Let's move straight on to the cons, which stand out against the backdrop of minor issues that, with proper support, could be addressed in the next review. Here, I am focusing exclusively on organizational issues. When interacting with the Symbiotic server on Discord, the following things stand out: 1. Lack of a centralized approach to communication. Despite its decentralized philosophy, the project lacks a clear user support structure. Questions and requests often go unanswered, but I can't say that this is a problem in itself. Despite its decentralized philosophy, the project lacks a clear user support structure. Questions and requests often remain without systematic follow-up, but I cannot highlight the positive side of this coin, namely the provision of support in trivial and simple matters, which is largely due to the moderator EDWARD. 2. Rare interaction with the community when opening tickets. Users who open tickets on Discord encounter rare or delayed responses. Often, no solution is offered, and the ticket simply turns into a model of begging your mother to buy you a toy :)). 3. Problems with moderation in regional chat rooms. The lack of banwards and proper control leads to a chaotic atmosphere, but due to the lack of colossal scale, this does not go beyond chaos, and measures will likely be taken when there is a new influx of users. But the fact remains that there is still room for unacceptable behavior, and it often goes unpunished. 4. We all know about the Contribution system. In this project, this performance could be given a separate volume in the book, haha. In order not to bog down and prolong this review, let's just say that the verification, content, and evaluation measures leave much to be desired, with absolute incompetence, disorder, and washing of hands. What conclusion can be drawn? Symbiotic looks interesting from the point of view of restaking technology, but poor community management could become a serious barrier to development. The project should pay attention to organizing support, building a clearer system of interaction with users, and strengthening the competence of moderators. However, with all this, the project also has large advantages and they roughly cover the presence of such “ugliness”. Although the review has a great tendency to a negative character, I decided to determine it for the impatient, thanks to everyone for reading.on Symbiotic · 1372· 1y ago · neutral3
