“Rug founder”Surprised nobody has called this out yet. Neutrl shut down stablecoin redemptions on Aug 13, closed discord chats, disabled X replies and went silent for a month. Later they blamed an “issue affecting a position held within the strategy” with basically zero details. Rumors say they got wrecked on OTC trades, with losses reportedly around 30%. Today they finally reopened redemptions, but affected users only get 51% of their original funds back. And conveniently, this happened just a week before the $H unlock, giving Neutrl a chance to pocket any extra liquidity from the unlock while users are left taking the loss. The founder also scrubbed most Neutrl posts, removed it from his bio and changed his name.
