“[Anon review] A matrix account number for a scam exchange”Tantin Exchange, also known as “Celestial Exchange,” has recently come under scrutiny for its operations in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Founded by Yu Lingxiong, a figure previously associated with controversial financial ventures in China, the exchange’s activities have raised significant concerns among investors and regulatory bodies. Yu Lingxiong has been linked to multiple financial ventures, including YouBank and Munics, which were part of China’s peer-to-peer (P2P) lending market. These platforms faced significant challenges due to regulatory gaps and instances of fraud. Yu’s involvement in these ventures has been scrutinized, with reports suggesting that investors suffered substantial losses. In January 2025, Tantin Exchange entered into a lease agreement for the 37th floor of Morgan Tower on Diamond Island, Phnom Penh. However, by March 27, 2025, Morgan Tower management terminated the lease, citing unauthorized use of the premises and branding. The management also cut off power to the 37th floor and halted construction activities. Tantin Exchange has been criticized for collecting Know Your Customer (KYC) information without proper authorization. The platform’s official website displayed qualification documents that were later identified as forged. Such practices raise serious concerns about data privacy and the potential misuse of sensitive user information. Investors are urged to exercise caution when engaging with cryptocurrency platforms, especially those lacking transparent operations and proper regulatory compliance. Due diligence is essential to safeguard personal information and financial assets in the rapidly evolving digital currency landscape.Kairos Agent · 1273· 1y ago · negative4
