“Can’t Be Trusted”It’s been a few months since Cecilia Hsueh took over as Strategy Director at MEXC. Since then, we’ve seen more and more complaints on X (Twitter) from users saying the exchange is blocking withdrawals. The most well-known case was from White Whale, who claimed his $3 million was stuck in MEXC with no way to withdraw. He reportedly reached out directly to Cecilia, and she told him to “admit he was wrong” if he wanted his funds released. White Whale refused and went public — and that’s when everything blew up. After huge backlash, MEXC and Cecilia eventually returned his funds. Sure, that specific issue was resolved. But the damage to trust remains. When a platform handles crises through pressure instead of transparency, it’s hard to believe the system — or its leadership — is reliable. I replied to some with a screenshot of looking through their accounts while searching for "MEXC". It was basically just random tweets about football (1%) and mainly MEXC sentiment control (99%). The botnet was always there, but it was in overdrive during the situation with White Whale. This is one of the people I would definitely avoid. “Crook”MEXC is a scammy exchange run by a bunch of scammers. Associate with them, and you become a scammer too. Bragged about empowering the community on stage at Token2049 and then proceeds to gaslight CT on how MEXC isn't doing anything wrong when freezing $US 3 millions of one of their trader's funds because of a technicality. If that trader didn't have reach on CT, that story would have been put under the rug. It would have been a slash if I had enough score for it In response to a tweet by White whale, Cecilia (and or her team at MEXC) hired an army of bots to spray tons of praises under her post in order to twist the narrative and sentiment in their favour Proof: https://x.com/zachxbt/status/1983920902501777512 It caught the attention of many people including ZachXBT himself No legitimate business would do this unless they have something to hide or are guilty of something As the saying goes, there is no fire without smoke.
