“A New Era of Decentralizing the Internet”DAWN is a DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) project built on the dec frameworks infrastructure that enables users to share the internet capacity around them and become their own Internet providers, without relying on centralized Internet Service Providers (ISPs). The project is being developed by the wireless internet provider Andrena, and DAWN has secured $18 million in funding led by Dragonfly Capital, CMT Digital, Castle Island Ventures, and Wintermute Ventures. DAWN is built on the Solana blockchain, providing fast, low-cost, and reliable transactions. It is not just a WiFi router, but also an advanced hardware platform that can serve as a home server while supporting both DePIN and AI projects. With a mechatronic system, its antenna can automatically align to the target and re-adjust in case of disconnection. This increases connection reliability and simplifies the user experience. It features an x86-based high-performance router, capable of gigabit-level data transmission, equipped with performance-enhancing technologies such as DPDK and VPP. Currently in its testnet phase, DAWN offers an incentive system to encourage user participation. Users can join the network via the DAWN Validator Chrome extension, and earn rewards by sharing referral codes or providing active connections. “A project that just can't seem to get released.”Honestly, it feels like a project that raised almost $50M is being developed by one and a half people There have been practically no posts on Twitter over the past 3 months, and there haven't been any meaningful changes or development in the project itself either At this point, it seems to be all about endlessly farming PTS and selling boxes that offer Dawn Node support, bonus PTS for purchases, Wi-Fi, third-party DePIN installations, and an x86 mini-server And with the bonus PTS, it's completely unclear how many tokens they will actually convert into or what those tokens will ultimately be worth DePIN also doesn't exactly feel innovative anymore — the hype around it has clearly died down. Out of everything included in the box, the only thing I can see having any real practical value is the x86 mini-server Considering the project raised almost $50M, it's completely reasonable to ask: **where is the actual development and progress? From the outside, it currently looks less like an actively developing project and more like an endless preparation for something that simply can't seem to launch

After 1 year of farming dawn - you just loose it. In anti-sybil "fight" they forgot about the user's security. they don't use kyc, but defending their platform from bots.
