“The company trying to decentralize energy.”One of the most interesting ideas of the next decade or two is allowing everyone to provide to the energy grid, themselves, from their home. No one knew how to really make it work but people like Jensen Huang and other AI notables have talked about how it is one of the coolest up and coming innovations that AI is going to force. Daylight tries to solve this and I think it's very well positioned, I hope to make it into the pre-deposit. The only thing is I'm not that familiar with the team and if they're really trying to make this work or just here to take a bag, they've been seeded by a16z though so they seem pretty trustworthy so far.

“This idea hits right at the "pain point" of solar energy.”In my country (Viet Nam), the weather between the South and North is very different: the South is sunny and warm year-round, while the North has 6 very cold months. That's why I'm very interested in this project because it promises to solve the "pain point" mentioned above: at the same time, solar energy can be very strong in one place and zero in another. The idea of decentralized energy is a brilliant one. However, after using their app, I have some doubts due to its simplicity, and honestly, there are a few annoying bugs for users, so we need to keep monitoring it further. Decentralized energy requires perfect technology and real dedication; however, I always appreciate this idea and hope they succeed.

“Real working business”They are legit. Operating infrastructure on real objects. Daylight handles the solar panels + battery installation and maintenance via a straightforward subscription model. My electric bills are noticeably lower (often below market rates), and during recent outages, the battery backup kept everything running smoothly without a problem.
