on Atakan.moca🥷 · 1341· 12mo ago11“letter from today to the future / “a note to zk nation””i’m writing from today: i’m not part of the team, but the network’s engineering discipline and incentive design convinced me. there was a time when everyone judged by a single dashboard and its “24-hour revenue.” instead, you built a model that collects value through two pipes and returns it to the community in one transparent loop: interop fees and enterprise licensing. buybacks were funded not by daily noise but by net period income. i hope tomorrow’s zk nation has preserved these principles: the core stayed open source; enterprise modules became source-visible and measurable. with performance-weighted staking, operators became more decentralized and faster; insurance & slashing work for faults. the kpi dashboard wrote monthly reports on-chain: interop volume, fees, buyback/burn/staking, treasury risk. with attested revenue oracles, license revenues flowed transparently into buybacks. ecosystem incentives shifted from “showcase grants” to usage bounties. to those reading this in the future: i hope today’s “negative day” debates are just a footnote to you. networks grow on the shoulders of those who don’t quit. you turned on the fees, closed the first licenses, published the data, and then tuned parameters by the data. that’s why continuing to build is worth far more than any minus sign. with respect, den0, a builder…
