From 283 activities · Apr 2026ENS (Ethereum Name Service) is a foundational decentralized naming system that transforms long wallet addresses into simple, human-readable .eth names, making crypto transactions safer, easier, and more accessible. Users consistently praise it for eliminating copy-paste errors, enabling seamless integration across wallets and dApps, and providing true ownership of digital identity independent of centralized platforms. While widely recognized as essential Web3 infrastructure with strong community support and a notable airdrop history, some concerns have been raised about pricing decisions and domain renewal fees.

Received · 405Given · 0“Best Web3 Domain”A revolutionary domain system for the Web3 ecosystem. A project that could be considered a kind of prestige. It also left its mark on the past period with its airdrop distribution. I've been using the domain I purchased since the very beginning for years. ENS has become my identity.

Burak.eth · 1326· 1y ago18“Making Web3 Simple with a .eth Name”Registering my ENS name was honestly a game changer. Turning my long, clunky wallet address into a simple “***.eth” made Web3 feel far more human and easy to use. Sending assets, connecting to dApps, or just tying my online identity together became seamless and secure. What I love most is that its truly mine not owned by any tech giant and part of a community driven project shaping Ethereum’s future. Getting in early on ENS was one of my best crypto decisions.

If adoption of decentralized identity and wallet naming accelerates, ENS could regain momentum—especially if paired with bullish ETH movement.

Andy · 1316· 1y ago14“My first web3 domain”ENS was my first ever Web3 domain, and it’s still valid to this day. In my opinion, the project is definitely one of the best in its category, offering a fundamental identity technology. Beyond that, this service is also a piece of nostalgia for me, a reminder of the times when community-focused projects, not cash grabs, dominated the market. And by the way, ENS is among the few projects that delivered one of the best airdrops ever, doing it fairly and openly.

I don't know a single influencer in cryptocurrency without an ENS domain that is beautiful, convenient and aesthetically pleasing. I've been waiting for one interesting domain for 3 years by the way and I hope this time the owner forgets to pay for it lol

Glavius Maximus 👑 · 1212· 1y ago14“Name Everything Onchain”This is one of my favorite utility projects on Ethereum L1, it can be expensive because it’s on an L1, but they’re working toward Namechain for better scalability. ENS is something that’s needed and used whether the market is up or down, making crypto readable should be the norm, and they also have DNS integration, so they’re working toward naming the whole internet infrastructure onchain.

drea · 1330· 1y ago14“"Web3 Finally Feels Human"”Getting my ENS name was a game-changer. No more copying and pasting long, clunky wallet addresses just a sleek, personalized .eth name that works everywhere. It instantly made everything in web3 from DeFi apps to NFT platforms feel smoother and more intuitive. What really stands out is the ownership: it's mine. Not managed by a corporation, not tied to a single app just pure, decentralized identity. Being part of the Ethereum ecosystem early on and supporting ENS feels like being on the right side of the future.
