ENS (Ethereum Name Service) is a foundational decentralized naming system that transforms long wallet addresses into simple, human-readable .eth names, making crypto transactions safer, easier, and more accessible. Users consistently praise it for eliminating copy-paste errors, enabling seamless integration across wallets and dApps, and providing true ownership of digital identity independent of centralized platforms. While widely recognized as essential Web3 infrastructure with strong community support and a notable airdrop history, some concerns have been raised about pricing decisions and domain renewal fees.

“Web3 Identity Layer”ens.eth isn’t just a product, it’s a piece of Web3’s identity layer and the way they show up on the timeline reflects that. Clear communication, strong community presence, and a commitment to decentralization run through everything they do. Their updates feel timely and thoughtful, their engagement feels intentional, and their vision for what identity can look like on-chain is genuinely exciting. ENS has become more than just a name service, it’s become cultural infrastructure. And through ens.eth, you feel that momentum building in real time. Whether you’re a builder, collector, or just exploring Web3, this account delivers signal, direction, and a sense that something foundational is being built right in front of us.

“Good tech overall”It is a good product, my only issue is that there is an expensive renewal cost i cant quite justify.

“Personalize Your Web3 Identity”My first domain cherry. I went hard in 2021 on the ENS names. What better way to personalize your address than with a custom name instead of 25 letters and numbers. I use to this day and beyond. Good DApp.

Their airdrop was an absolute game-changer, rewarding early adopters generously and sparking huge community excitement. ENS continues to lead the way in making Web3 identities seamless and user-friendly

“ENS User for years”I've had my ENS name for a few years now. Really does make for a useful convenience especially with newbies who are unfamiliar with addresses.

“ENS - My Digital Passport in Web3”I’m really glad to have my own name.eth address on mainnet. It opens so many doors , from easier payments to using decentralized websites, NFTs, and social profiles in Web3. ENS feels like the email of digital identity, but one that you truly own. What I love most is how it makes sending and receiving funds safer and more human, without long wallet addresses. With integrations like Google search and subdomain support, ENS keeps becoming more useful every day. A bit of criticism: premium names can be expensive, and for newcomers it might feel tricky at first. But with the pace ENS is evolving (Namechain, DAO governance, growing adoption), I believe it’s the best way to establish your identity in crypto - simple, secure, and future-proof.

“ENS makes Web3 feel more human. Every time I send funds using a name instead of a long string, I’m reminded how powerful”

Ivan Mocharnyk · 1428· 1y ago18

“ENS is the most recognizable and essential name service”I got my ENS name about 2 years ago and have never regretted it. In many projects, having an ENS acted as a kind of multiplier for earning airdrops, extra points or other perks. It is now much more accessible than it was before.
